This converter had to set for a min. or two until it made a working picture . But it worked just like the add said. And it was on sale. I wish I had two so I could cut one open to see what's inside. I wanted to give it 4 and a half stars, but I couldn't see how to make a half star.

The converter arrived promptly and was what I needed. Worked fine, easy install One minor issue was with the listing, it said nothing about cables included. I assumed all were, I found after receiving I needed to supply the HDMI cable. No big deal, but it would have been nice to know that up front and I would have included that in my order.

This device works very well with. I have two devices with no HDMI output and my main TV has only HDMI input. It connected very easily and worked seamlessly. I would definitely recommend it.
Allows older tech to "plug" into the present

Works as described. Since my 90s model VCR is "mono," only had to use AV cables to connect the yellow & white plug ins on this AV to HDMI converter module. If your device is stereo, then you would need another cable to connect the red plug ins, as well. Just glad to be able to view my old VHS collection again, using a HDMI plug in on my flat screen TV.

I really like this device. I can even play my old VHS player to my newer television with it.
