Works great and as intended for Houston Local Channels in Conroe/Montgomery TX

Just like it says on the outside of the box, if this antenna can’t capture the signals you need for the location you’re in then no antenna ever will is true to its name. I’ve tried 3 antennas on my parents house in Conroe/Montgomery Texas (55-57 miles away from Houston Texas OTA channel market) and had a nightmare of a time getting Houston ABC 13 and FOX 26. This model fixed that problem and works nicely! A few notes: Assembly took an hour, all diagrams only. Comes with 2 clamps that are installed on antenna top and bottom approx 16 inches apart. Pole/Mast is NOT included. If mast is desired you will need a very tall mast with possibly an extension! Recommend a very experienced installer that does strong mounting into rafter/stud. Antenna is huge when assembled 8’ by 12’ and weighs 12 LBS. May need extra support such as steel cable with eye hook screws in 3 different places to help withstand winds. It’s a beast!!! Recommended.

An absolute no brainer

I live in Mount Laurel New Jersey, approximately 22 Mi from the Philadelphia Towers. Set the antenna up in my attic, used antenna point app to get it pointed as close as possible to the towers. On my first scan I got 135 channels. No more Comcast headaches, will save about $2,400 a year. Great investment.

I installed the Televes DAT BOSS LR Mix U/V-Hi/V-Lo Antenna 60 mile range (148383) with new RG-6 coax. All we can say is WOW! what a difference! I'm receiving the same stations as before, just a lot better picture quality and signal! The build quality of the antenna and instructions were good. For $200 bucks it's a good deal! Mike Moore was helpful when I placed my order. I received my antenna within two days, My old antenna was in use for 22 years. I hope this one last just as long. Time will tell.
