The PA-16 is an ultra low noise, mast mounted pre-amp system that provides a gain of 16db and a 2.8 dB maximum noise figureon the UHF side (Will NOT pass VHF)
The PA-16 is a powerful low noise signal amplifier. It will perform best when connected properly. Remember an amplifier cannot create a signal. It will help over come the loss caused from cable runs and splitters.
The PA 16 comes with:
Low noise pre amplifier
Low loss power inserter
12V DV power supply
2 foot coax cable
4 foot coax cable
A pre amp will work best when it is amplifying the signal at its strongest point; nearest the antenna.
1. Connect the antennas transformer to the pre amp "In" port as shown using the supplied 2 foot cable.
2. Strap the pre amp to the antenna mast using the supplied cable tie.
3. Run your coaxial cable down lead (not supplied) inside your building and connect to the right port of the power inserter. (Do not reverse the connection!!)
4. Connect the left port of the power inserter to your digital receiver using the supplied 4 foot cable (above). (Do not reverse the connection!)
