bought it to replace an older scantenna that didnt make it through an ice storm. this model is improved stronger design. works well with P25 in the 700/800 mhz band and most scanner frequencies.have to use an attenuator on high band vhf -if you live in a city. or on a scanner with built in attenuator for vhf. very high gain.

Weird looking but good performing scanner antenna. Its very tall at 102 but easy to mount on an existing mast with the included standoff mount. Does much better than I expected on the VHF/UHF air bands as well as VHF/UHF FM. No low band stations in this area but Id expect it to do well there.
