A Rotor or Rotator is a mast-mounted, motor-driven device that permits the TV viewer to conveniently rotate (orient) the outdoor antenna in any direction to optimize reception of a desired TV channel. A rotor should be considered when TV signals are being derived from broadcast towers in different directions and a single antenna cannot accommodate all locations.
A rotator consists of two parts: 1) an indoor control unit, and 2) an outdoor drive unit. The two are connected via a multi-conductor wire that carries the voltage and control signals from the indoor unit to the outdoor drive unit.
Rotation: 1 RPM Gear Ratio: 3200 to 1 Max. Masting: 2” 117V 60 Hz Rotator & Control Unit (230V 50 Hz Units: 9521EU & 9537EU)

Still going strong after 11 years mpro - daisy, MD - 8/6/2014 4:46:01 PM Great product! The rotor is on a 30 foot mast and rotates a very large & heavy 190-inch boom monster antenna. Subject to high winds and cold winter temps. Frequent operation of rotor everyday due to stations from all directions. NOTE - If yours isn';t doing well or died early it';s likely due to not using the rotor enough. Internal gears are self-lubricating and if you don';t exercise the motor daily you do risk premature failure, as with any rotor. Mast must be perfectly level vertically on all sides or the weight will lean on one side of the rotor motor causing it to bind.
Nice unit for diverse TV stations Trusting1 - Lenhartsville, enhartsville - 3/28/2013 Unit has been performing very well.
Channel Master CM9521A Rotator System Fan of Country - Central Texas, Central Texas - 3/28/2013 I use this rotator with the biggest TV antenna I could find (an AntennaCraft HD1850 Heavy-Duty HD VHF/UHF/FM Antenna) in a remote area and it performs absolutely flawlessly. It makes receiving distant stations in various directions a simple matter of pushing a button or two on the remote control. It doesnt get much better than that.
Remote and digital settings are great! DougNK - RI, RI - 3/28/2013 Had an old Channel Master Rotator for many years it still functioned well when I replaced it with this one.The digital setting is GREAT and the remote control is great too.My stations are all to the north so I set up the rotator backwards (the numbers are opposite 180 for N and 0 for S) but I can just pre-set channel numbers in and off it goes. Very convenient!
Channel Master CM9521A Complete Antenna Joe - south of Erie P, south of Erie P - 3/28/2013 Channel Master CM9521A Complete Antenna Rotator System with InfraRed Remote:I purchased this Channel Master Rotator system to use with a DB8 UHF antenna mounted on an old mast south of Erie Pennsylvania. I wired the cable into the rotator and sealed it with RTV to prevent leaks and it has been working fine for over 6 months now. I dont need to rotate the antenna much in fact I only rotate it t
remote control better than manual Snowdog - VT, VT - 3/28/2013 Havent had long enough to know if it will stand the test of time (and wind and snow and ice). Cant give 5 stars without that knowledge.I was confused when I first saw remote operated rotors.I didnt realise the remote is just between your sofa and the remote box by the TV.The system still requires a real cable to the antenna (which is fine since I already had it installed from a previous
Great Product dehan42 - Tampa Bay, Bay Flor - 3/28/2013 Purchased one for my mother She refuses to get cable. Worked great till a thunderstorm took it out with several other electronics. Ill be purchasing another one shortly.
well er uh... Clicker - MCALESTER, OK - 11/28/2016 3:15:05 PM after about year, rotator became eratic especially when cold weather sets in. have to constantly sync to line up. weak motor i suspect. i'm done with these weak tv rotators i'm going to a small ham radio rotator that is heavier built!
Unit worked fine for about 1 year, then became undependable. I took it down for inspection, and it worked fine. Reinstalled, and it worked for a while, then became intermittent. It works only when it feels like it. I won';t buy ChannelMaster again. techman - Picton, ON - 6/19/2013 8:34:25 PM This section asks what I really think. I really think that ChannelMaster is junk. Years ago, they had a good name. I don';t think that applies any more.
cold weather is a NO GO JuggerJ - Michigan, Michigan - 1/14/2013 I live in the thumb area of Michigan.I used this product to hold a small 2.4ghz grid antenna. It worked great until winter rolled in.Anytime the weather is freezing or colder it simple WONT TURN.The moment it warms up slightly its good to go again.I really expected a lot more out of the channel master brand. This product has tainted my view forever. If you live in a cold winter climate
