AntennaCraft HD 1850 is a solid best buy

I have my HD 1850 on a chimney mount on a 10 foot mast and get stations from Greensboro Winston Salem High Point North Carolina as well as stations in southern Virginia. I am receiving stations from up to 70 miles away with no amplification and the antenna has stood the recent hurricane force winds that North Carolina as well as Virginia have experienced

I wanted to buy the Channel Master deepest fringe antenna but it was very expensive and this antenna looked comparable. I am about 60 miles from the local stations I wanted to receive with a lot of hills and trees in between. I mounted it 25 feet off the ground and added a preamplifier. I receive all but one local station crystal clearand that one is still watchable most of the time. Needl

This AC 1850 antenna is all of what I expected its ruggedly built and has already withstood the brutal winds off lake Erie I can now watch with ease most of the Detroit and Buffalo TV stations along with the many Canadian Stations and on occasion we even get Lansing Flint & Toledo this is truly the antenna that exceeds my expectations. I highly recommend this antenna.
