Q: The system says that you can convert more than one remote. Do you sell the transmitter/battery separately?

A: Yes - Separate battery transmitters are available, see link to extra RF transmitter/battery.

Q: I have two units to control, each with its own remote. Can I use a single LRRX RF receiver to control both units using their respective remotes?

A: Yes - The two units would need to be relatively close to each other. An an extra battery/transmitter is required for the second remote, see link for dual-output emitter.

Q: If I want to buy two of these systems to control two different cable boxes, it seems to me that every time I use a remote it would affect both boxes unless the transmitter/receiver can be setup to work off different channels (via dipswitch). Is this a possibility?

A: All this device does is convert IR signal to RF and then back again to IR. The differences in controllers would have to be set up with the units being controlled. Similar to changing the remote codes for satellite rec as well as wireless phone jacks.

Q: Would use of this system cause interference with another remote extender system that I am using?

A: If they were pointed directly at the other devices, there shouldnt be any problems.

Q: How do I use / install the unit?

    A: See our detailed instructions.

System works great! One thing to consider.
    - Orlando, FL -
I have had this system in my family room for years and works great. With my cable remote control I can control the TV,reciever and DVD. Over the years I have had to replace my cablebox from cable provider. All cableboxes do not work with 433mhz. So for all equipment to work off one remote control they have to be 433mhz compatible.
Works great. No problems with installation.

NextGen Invisible Multi-Room Remote Extender Frequency 433 - Works great
    - Kewanee, IL -
I bought this for my Dish receiver ViP 211k. It works fine for the extended coax TV in the kitchen. Use the 211 Remote with the RF battery adapter in the kitchen and it changes your Receiver in the other room.
Works like a charm if you know what you are doing!
    - Dallas, TX -
Only thing I would recommend is for the directions for the 1 eye IR(infrared Emitter Bulb) state that the bulb be positioned facing the equipment instead of saying in front of. If must face the equipment IR receiver built into the divise - like a cable box. Once charged and set up correctly - it works great!
    This works extremely well
    - Boston, MA -
I bought this when my cable company required that we installed boxes on all TVs to descramble their digital signal. Had absolutely no room for a box in the kitchen for the under cabinet TV. Using this transmitter, I was able to hide the box in the basement and control it from the kitchen. I was uncertain if it would work but it is incredibly responsive and works as if you were standing in front of the cable box.
    Great Product-smaIl interferance
    - Chicago, Il. -
Sets up easily no brainer. I had a little rf temperature gauge I used outside. It interfered with my Nextgen. Once I eliminated the interferance worked like a charm. I have ownned this system for years. I works flawlessly and can be used at great distances.I also have cordless phones and wireless internet and these do not interfere with the signal.
    Wonderful Product

I have a receiver in a cabinet and I had to open the doors to use my remote. Now it is as if the IR remote and receiver was RF all along. Perfect solution.
    It really works

My TV is in one room and everything that works with it is in another.Cable box amp/receiver DVD player are in a cabinet in another room about 30 ft away.I plugged the receiver and sensors in put the transmitters in the remotes and was surprised that it worked the first time and continues to work.Being able to charge additional batters in the base station is a great plus.I have bought a

This was the best Christmas gift my father in law has ever gotten in his words. We ran a second feed out of the satellite dish into my in laws bedroom. Now he can freely change channels and view the dish programming without having to go into the living room and change the channel on the receiver. This allows my mother in law to be able to watch DVDs or over the air television on the living room
    Works perfectly
    - Pinehurst, urst NC -
I purchased the remote extender with a healthy dose of skepticism. This is one of those occasions where I was not disappointed. It works great! I can be anywhere in the house and control my DVR/TV with ease.It works so well Im thrilled at the purchase.
    Awesome product!

I have two tvs.One in the living room and one in my bedroom.I only have one satellite receiver though. I have a cable running from the tv with the receiver(bedroom) to the tv in my living room.I use the NexGen so I can control the tv channels from my living room even though the receiver is in my bedroom. This way I dont have to buy another receiver. Also I walked out to my mailbox(approx

    - Charlottesville, Charlottesville -
Used with DISH dual receiver on the IR channel.Works better than the DISH RF controller on other channel as far as range is concerned.Had to change switch position in base unit to get it working.
    Awesome !
    - Edison, NJ -
I had tried other ir extenders with my Atlanta Scientific cable box with marginal results. This one works like a champ. I had originally bought it with the intentions of using it in a single room but with the uniqueness of putting the transmitter in the remote I find myself dragging the remote to every room in the house.
    Great Product

Im a skeptic and didnt really figure this would work but it has me sold! The RF is more responsive than the remote in IR. One touch and an instant response from my stereo equipment. Works from upstairs and outside. I dont have to order a complicated universal remote. This thing is simple!

    Fantastic for Hiding Cable Boxes
    - Plymouth, th MI -
I bought a small HDTV for the kitchen counter for my wife. After seeing the huge (by comparison) cable box that was required to actually get HD my wife demanded it be removed from the kitchen. So I put it in the basement on a shelf below the kitchen and ran an HDMI cable up to the HDTV. Then I used this product to remotely control the cable box and the TV.So I have a happy wife--well at least

My HD cable box is in the basement TV on the main floor above the fireplace perfect inexpensive solution instead of a cabinet (that I didnt want) next to the fireplace.
    Works GREAT!
    - Long Island, g Island Ne -
I didnt want a cable box on my kitchen counter but needed one to view all the channels. I put the cable box in my basement where the cable line to my kitchen tv is and I used this remote extender. Let me tell you I was amazed because it works perfectly. The unit is 2 floors down from my kitchen and works great.I recommend it.
    Good Remote Extender
    - Southfield, hfield Mic -
The transmitter eliminates the need to have a sending unit that requires that the remote be aimed at the sending unit like other remote extenders. The flying saucer is the receiver.I use it to control one of two set-top boxes that have the same remote code.It works well.I have had two one of each frequency for about six years. I replaced a transmitter a year ago and one of the six batter
