GREAT SUBSTITUTE FOR CHANNELMASTER PREAMP INSERTER!!! MagicDragan - New Brunswick, NJ - 1/22/2015 11:11:40 AM I have the older Channelmaster 7777 preamp (the powerful good one... not the current inferior one). My old Channelmaster power inserter was dying so I tried one from the new 7777 but it's only 14 volts and too noisy. Results were awful. I tried the Winegard PS1403 for the Winegard LNA 200 preamp as it indicated 18 volts which matches the old 7777 inserter. It works at least as well if not better! It saved me from climbing the antenna mast to replace the 7777 amp with a new Winegard LNA200. As the other reviewer said it could be even higher voltage but I don't care as I'm running 6 TVs with one at 100 feet from the antenna... plenty of load to handle it! If you try it I bet you'll like it!
Buyer Beware Vinman - CO, CO - 3/28/2013 As the title says buyer beware.The product mentions 18 Volt preamp but needs more information to describe what it actually does.#1 - The power supply for the splitter is 18 volts under load.The no-load voltage is actually in the 25 to 28 DC volt range.#2 - The splitter contains a regulator that takes the 18 volts DC and converts it to 14 volts DC.Otherwise the product is great if yo
