Specs

The SD-3700 is one of the most efficient ways to join two antennas.  Most antenna combiners are 75 Ohm, where you have 300-75 Ohm transormers between the antenna and combiner.  The SD-3700 eliminates the insertion loss of the transformers and results in a much cleaner signal.  Joining two antennas can be a great alternative to a rotator.  It is recommended that you run equal lengths of 300 Ohm cable from each antenna to the SD-3700 to eliminate multipath.

Joins antennas with LITTLE line loss

Joins antennas with LITTLE line loss

Unfortunately few people realize that they experience signal loss by indiscriminately using separate baluns to convert signals from multiple antennae to 75 ohm coaxial cable before coupling those signals. The SD 3700 avoids this signal loss by combining the signals from two antennae before combining the joined signal into a single 75 ohm and therefore reduces signal loss immensely.MAKE SURE y
Does the job it is supposed to

Its loss is less than a combiner ie when twoantennas stacked at the optimum distance then the gain was 2.8 db higher than that of oneof the antennas.Note that 3 db ie double power is unobtainable and this unit gave the best performance practically attainable. It alsoprotects the inputs from water and this is somethinga regular combiner cant do without other waterproofing measures.O
fair product

The product is as advertised.I was hoping for greater signal strength and less noise by installing the 300 wiring. With many arrays now supplying 75 right at the connection source it would seem this is less a valuable item.If these connections are not on your antenna go for it.Overall no complaints just was hoping for greater gain.
