It's a bit heavier than other dual-monitor arms I've used in the past, but it is REALLY burly, and should do the trick! Mauricio the IT Guy - Los Angeles, CA - 4/7/2016 4:55:14 PM The price was right, and I got two to use for some users here that needed two monitors, but also needed the desk space.
The packaging is nothing to write home about, but when you put it together, you'll see that it's pretty well made.
This one is MUCH easier to put together than others I've used. It comes mostly assembled, and you just have to install the base portion, and the vertical tube. Then, slide the arm piece on, attach some trim pieces, and you're off.
The documentation was sparse, but again, a baby could put this thing together (please don't let your baby put it together, it's heavy).
I didn't see an option to hole-mount, (but I could be mistaken, as I didn't need to do that) like my other monitor arm. If you want to mount it in a desk grommet hole, this might cause an issue. But that's not what I needed for, and it fit the bill for me perfectly.
Just remember, though, it is METAL. Like, MOSTLY metal. Therefore, it's a little heavier than others I've used. Just make sure it's securely mounted.
