mounts easily on antenna
- Raleigh, NC -
This unit although labeled LOW/High on the LOW side it will pass high band VHF/// On the HIGH side it will pass UHF. you can easily mount it to your antenna & combine a UHF & separate VHF antenna but don't combine a UHF/VHF already combined antenna you will lose one side or the other!!
A great way to split FM from TV signals
- Springfield, MO -
After fighting with a dipole FM antenna that I did not have room to mount correctly, I realized that I could probably use my attic-mounted VHF/UHF/FM antenna and split the signal. However, I did not want to cut my TV signal strength in half with a standard separator.

After some research I found references to the Winegard CA8800 FM Tap, but it was discontinued and I could not find any in-stock anywhere. Eventually, I located the Blonder Tongue version and I';m very glad that I did. I installed two of these and there is no noticeable TV signal loss on either set. Additionally, my FM reception on both stereos increased dramatically. I should note that I don';t have any TV broadcasts on real-channels 2 to 6 in my area, so no loss there. For my needs the separators worked perfectly.

Great service, price, and product - thanks Solid Signal!!!
