All models feature 75 Ohm inputs and outputs.
All models use Model 0747 117VAC Indoor Power Supply.
Models CM-7777 and CM-7778 feature a switchable FM trap. It is factory set "in".
Models CM-7777 and CM-7778 may be configured for either a single UHF/VHF input or separate UHF and VHF inputs. It is factory set to "single UHF/VHF input".

1. Ensure correct setting of FM trap (Models CM-7777 and CM-7778 ). Ensure correct setting of VHF input (Models CM-7777 and CM-7778 ). To change either of the above, see Figure 1.

2. To install 75 Ohm coaxial cable, first determine the proper length of cable required between the antenna and the pre-amplifier; also between the power supply (Fig 3) and the pre-amplifier. Next, slip a weather boot (provided) over the cable. Attach male "F" connectors to the cable ends. When the "F" connectors have been attached, slip the weather boot up over the "F" connector of the pre-amplifier. If the antenna is 300 Ohms, use a balun, e.g. Channel Master Model 0090 as shown in Fig. 2.

This reminder is provided to call the CATV System Installer's attention to Article 820-40 of the NEC that gives guidelines for grounding. NEC Article 820-40 specifies that the cable ground shall be connected to the grounding system of the building at a point closest to the cable entry as practical.
3. Using the U-bolt, flat washers, star-lock washers and hex nuts provided in the hardware bag, mount the amplifier to the mast as shown in Figure 2. Note: The amplifier is to be mounted with the connections facing downwards. It may be mast or wall mounted.
1. Choose a location for mounting the indoor power supply as close to the television set and a 120 volt 60 Hz AC electrical outlet as possible. Using the two screws provided, mount the power supply to the wall or any flat surface. See Figure 3.

2. Attach a male "F" connector to the other end of the coaxial cable that has been run to the indoor power supply location from the outdoor antenna amplifier. Connect this cable to the connection labeled "FROM ANT' on the power supply.
3. Next, connect a length of 75 Ohm coaxial cable from the connection labeled "TO TV" on the power supply to the television set. Note: For television sets that have separate UHF and VHF terminals-use a Channel Master UHFNHF band separator to make the proper connections.
4. Finally, plug the AC cord into the electrical outlet. Note: This is a solid state unit, no warming up time is required. Current drain is minimal (less than an electrical shock) so that the unit may remain plugged-in at all times.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove cover (or back). No user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel.
Presence of uninsulated "dangerous voltage" within the product's enclosure may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute risk of electric shock.
The presence of important operating and maintenance instructions are contained in the literature accompanying this product.
Caution: To prevent electric shock, match wide blade of plug to wide slot, fully insert.
FM TRAP (where applicable)
This broadband trap is shipped with the switch in the "IN" position, thus eliminating FM signal. If FM signals are desired, slide the switch to the "out" position. See Figure 2.
FM interference is indicated by a "herringbone" pattern appearing on any VHF channel (2 through 13). If this type of interference is present, be sure that the FM trap switch is in the "IN" position.
