Altelix NX201612-DIN - 20x16x12 Industrial DIN Rail NEMA 4X Stainless Steel Weatherproof Enclosure

The Altelix NX201612-DIN Stainless Steel NEMA 4X Weatherproof Industrial DIN Rail Enclosure is ideal for protecting DIN rail mounted equipment from harsh environments and tampering. The outside dimensions are 19.7 x 15.8 x 11.8 inches (500 x 400 x 300 mm) and the usable interior dimensions are 15.9 x 12.0 x 10.2 inches (405 x 306 x 259 mm).

DIN Mounting Rails
Included with this enclosure are (2) DIN Mounting Rails. These rails mount to the interior of enclosure and are designed for use with (3) 35mm top hat DIN rails included with the enclosure. This versatile DIN rail mounting system runs the full length of the enclosure from top to bottom. This allows the Top Hat DIN rails to be mounted easily in any of 15 locations providing the flexibility needed when configuring the enclosure for specific user requirements. Hardware for mounting the Top Hat DIN rails is included.

Construction and Features
This rugged IP66 rated enclosure features continuous seam welded 18 Gauge (1.2mm thick) AISI 304L stainless steel construction. The enclosure door is fully gasketed making this enclosure suitable for use indoors or outdoors. The door features reinforced hinges and a quarter-turn latch to secure the enclosure. Internal grounding studs are provided on both the door and enclosure. A removable access panel is provided and is fully gasketed to ensure proper seal. Both the enclosure and door feature a brushed natural finish.

Mounting
Mounting holes are provided inside the enclosure for mounting to a wall or other structure. Two optional flange and pole mounting kits are available, painted steel (model NMKS-400-08) and stainless steel (model NMKX-400-08).

Optional Lockable Latches
For additional protection of internal equipment installed, two lockable latches are available. The HN-0005 is a keyed lock set which includes two keys. The HN-0006 allows the enclosure to be securely locked via use of a padlock (not included). Both the HN-0005 and HN-0006 are direct replacements for the standard quarter-turn latches that come pre-installed in the enclosures.
