DIRECTV Slimline 3 SWM LNB for Satellites 99 101 and 103 (SL3-SWM)

I was getting signal loss messages on my Directv system. The self diagnosis program said problem was no comms with SWM module. Thought possible heat problem as temp was excessive for So Tx. Had no spare LNB to test with. So ordered one from Solid Signal Got one quickly. Turns out, the Power Injector was the culprit all along and I had spares on hand. So I have spares now if needed.

Needed to replace an old LNB that had lost its protective cap. Ordered this model and connected it to a new slimline dish. Hooked up the cable and I am getting a good strong signal and perfect reception and program content.

I received the part in a timely manner. The part was correct and fit my needs. The shipping box was torn on one corner and crushed on another corner. FedEx must have thrown the box out of the truck as they drove by at 40 MPH. Fortunately, much to my surprise, the part worked.

This is a great alternative to buying a standalone SWM module provided you only need the 3 signals. This eliminates yet another device. My setup is as follows:SL3-SWM --> SWM Power Inverter --> SWM8 Splitter --> Rooms
