DISH 54.1 Voice Command Remote for Hopper (ES013401)

This Dish Voice Command Remote Is an Awesome Performer. Yes, this voice control does work, just say, "channel #". It is much easier to control (the buttons) than the official Dish-supplied remote. And to beat it all, in the dark TV room, the control buttons light up for 5 +/- seconds when you pick it up so you won't have to turn on a light to see what you're doing. Plus more features. And, Solid Signal cost is half the price of Dishe's.

We received the controller quickly after ordering and the set up was super easy.

I can't comment on it's performance since I haven't used it yet. I ordered it because I thought the original Remote was the cause of the TV malfunctioning. Could not turn it on. As it turned out it was a TV problem in the first place. I can say, however, it looks identical to the original version from DISH and shipment was prompt, actually earlier than anticipated. Price is the same as a replacement through DISH.
