The GAI-Tronics RED ALERT Emergency Telephone is designed to be installed on any flat surface and is Type 3R weather compliant. It can be installed on any analog PSTN, PBX, PABX, or KSU network providing 24 V dc or 48 V dc line voltage with a minimum line current of 24 mA. No external power is required for normal operation. The telephone is capable of providing two (2) auxiliary outputs for control of peripherals via local or remote activation. These outputs can be programmed for a variety of control parameters including telephone HELP button or remote DTMF activation. Each telephone can additionally be configured to automatically answer when called.
