I have a receiver in a cabinet and I had to open the doors to use my remote. Now it is as if the IR remote and receiver was RF all along. Perfect solution.

Im a skeptic and didnt really figure this would work but it has me sold! The RF is more responsive than the remote in IR. One touch and an instant response from my stereo equipment. Works from upstairs and outside. I dont have to order a complicated universal remote. This thing is simple!

Fantastic for Hiding Cable Boxes
by Bob K
I bought a small HDTV for the kitchen counter for my wife. After seeing the huge (by comparison) cable box that was required to actually get HD my wife demanded it be removed from the kitchen. So I put it in the basement on a shelf below the kitchen and ran an HDMI cable up to the HDTV. Then I used this product to remotely control the cable box and the TV.So I have a happy wife--well at least
Five and 1/2 years trouble free

My HD cable box is in the basement TV on the main floor above the fireplace perfect inexpensive solution instead of a cabinet (that I didnt want) next to the fireplace.
Works GREAT!

I didnt want a cable box on my kitchen counter but needed one to view all the channels. I put the cable box in my basement where the cable line to my kitchen tv is and I used this remote extender. Let me tell you I was amazed because it works perfectly. The unit is 2 floors down from my kitchen and works great.I recommend it.
