more channels than prior antenna

by

Got it to replace an older antenna works well.

Palm Harbor, Florida

by

I installed this in my home in palm harbor florida. I get all the local stations, 8, 10, 11 &13 and many others. My tv's picked up at least 60 channels on the initial scan. I have 5 tvs connected via a 8 way non powered spitter. Higjly recommend this antenna.

Does the job

Super long range antenna works well in rural PA with a booster. Direction is important too as well as testing before installing!

Good Deal

Antenna's arrived as promised and no issues with shipping, web site was easy to use and will probably visit again.

Great high-gain antenna for broadcasts from a single location

by

This is an excellent high-gain antenna for situations where all broadcasts originate from a single location - Sandia Crest near Albuquerque in our case. We're up in Santa Fe, our house is 39.25 miles from the antennae, and we get massive signal from this antenna on all VHF and UHF frequencies of interest. In fact, I removed the preamp when I switched to this antenna since the unamplified signal is so strong.

the antenna works real good

Everything Went Right

by

The price of the antenna was lower than other places I checked. It arrived on time and in good condition. Assembly/unfolding it was easy. After mounting it, I scanned the available channels and it picked up all of the local affiliates, their sub-channels and others that I didn't know were available.

Great antenna for the price

Initially I was going to put this on a 22' tall mast attached to the privacy fence that attaches to my house. I then rethought that because I didn't want to fuss with guy wires and lowered it to 11'. While waiting for some other supplies I connected the antenna to the wire and put in on top of a Black and Decker Workmate, in the backyard, behind the fence, under a tree. For giggles I did a channel scan and got 56 channels. After I put it up, 68 channels. Not too shabby at all. Aside from the plastic connector box you have to attach, it's fully assembled, you just have to open it up. And speaking of that connector box, it didn't want to snap into place the first couple tries, but I managed to get it on. Make sure you get all 4 clips to catch.

Quality is still excellent just as it was back in the days when everything was made in USA,

The quality is still excellent just as it was back in the days when everything was made in USA, works very well, excellent range around 55 miles in my location!

Great antenna

by

This antenna was smaller than my last one, so I was leary of how many of the channels in the Tampa Bay area it would pick up. 30-40 miles away. Very surprised to see it gets all the network channels, along with their offsprings, 8.2,.8.3, 8.4 etc. and it gets all the other channels the old antenna got. over 80 in total. Great light antenna and the best thing is the coax cable connects right to the antenna, no need for a transformer with 2 wires and wing nuts, where the old antenna broke
