Solid construction, excellent performance. kkolarik - Rialto, CA - 1/13/2015 10:21:15 AM I live in an area that sees 60-70mph winds routinely...an antenna mounted on the rooftop needs to be sturdy, this one is. The antenna is fairly compact, making it a good choice for an attic install. As for performance, I'm about 44 miles from the transmission towers, the signal strength is about 90, and I get a mere 132 channels! Could I do better? I doubt it. This was easily one of the best purchases I made in a very long time!
Great antenna. scvfd1202 - Jacksonville, NC - 11/30/2014 12:38:54 PM Provides great reception when installed correctly. Good construction and very easy to assemble.
Excellent! John - Modesto, CA - 9/2/2014 2:09:40 PM AntennaCraft 33 Element UHF / High-Band VHF Outdoor HDTV Antenna (HBU33) I am 50 miles from the stations. I have trees & other obstacles. Antenna is only 10 ft above the roof and works great! 20+ stations crystal clear! Very happy!
Excellent antenna for the price elcheapoloco - Cerritos, CA - 7/19/2014 8:32:51 PM Build quality is excellent and shipping is quick. I';m 26 miles from the transmitter cluster and wasn';t happy with my bay antenna. This baby pulled in all the channels I expect to have and then some. Very happy with my purchase.
Just What I Needed: Cancelled Cable Today Gris. - Caledonia, MI - 6/7/2014 1:54:10 PM Coupled two of these together with a CP2512 Combiner, ran the signal thru an Antennacraft 10G201 Pre-Amp,pointed one antenna at 320deg. the other at 160deg. Scanned 50 channels. We are near GRAND RAPIDS,MI.pick up stations from Cadillac to the north,Green Bay to the west,Flint and Lansing to the east,Kalamazoo and Battle Creek to the south, all with antennas mounted in the attic of a garage. The only issue is that the beamwidth is a little more narrow than expected, making set-up a little tricky. All in all, for the money this is a super antenna, even though they are installed indoors.Construction is very good. Assembly is easy. The elements snap into place very secure and tight Also, the reflector wings snap lock, plus have a locking bolt and nut so they will not fold up in a wind.I would love to have one of these on the roof with a pre-amp and a rotor.
easy/fast to assemble! Awesome signal gathering ability! mellonc0llie - Brighton, CO - 11/23/2013 10:13:22 PM Completely exceeded my expectations! I live in Brighton, right near I-76, (Outskirts of a major city) my parents live in Platteville (Rural town) I was a little skeptical, but for the price, I had to give it a shot. I installed it for my parents and immediately even without pointing it towards lookout mountain, we were getting a ton of local channels, once we pointed it to lookout, we got upwards of 70 channels! (lots of duplicates and Wyoming channels, but still 70 solid over the air HD Channels!) that same day we installed it, there was a bad rainstorm and it got super windy. The antenna withstood a pounding unaffected and the signal was still great! about a month later, I installed the same model on my house and got the same great results! I mounted it on a pole and had the pole on the ground. even ON THE GROUND we were getting at least 20 solid channels! after raising the pole, it was even better! the only other concern I had was loss of signal strength once splitting it. I have a junction box that has 4 splits (just a little cheapie) and hooked up 3 TV';s to it. I haven';t experienced a single issue or loss of signal whatsoever! for the price, I have to say that this antenna completely blows away all expectations! (and the HD is crystal clear!) the shipping was speedy from Solidsignal.com, and a completely reasonable price! I can';t think of a single negative thing about this antenna, and the service provided.
Great performance for the price.. MAJ - Frontenac, enac KS - 3/28/2013 Easily pulls in distant stations and HD channels are crystal clear
Good antenna would buy again johnboy - Winsted, MN. - 3/28/2013 works great easy to assemable pulls in channels I never knew we could get beautiful HD picture.
Great antenna Opey Cunningham - Dalton Ga, Dalton Ga - 12/27/2012 Easy to deploy. It has a wide beam so I can pick up 28 stations spread across a 50 degree arc from around 30 miles without having to rotate and fine tune each station. High band vhf means it does not have the really long elements of the old standard antennas. This makes it have less windage in a storm and also looks musch smaller from the ground than its 80 inches would suggest. My dad saw it and
A very good antenna Wayne Wicks - Littleton, eton CO - 11/28/2012 I receive all the digital channels in the Denver area. It was easy to install and after a year with the snow and mountain winds has come through with out any issue. It has a broad enough beam width to also receive a couple of channels off axis.

If you have only a few to pick up The Winegard Hd7694P has better UHP pick up it has 8 driven UHF elements in yagi form while HBU series only has 2 in a folded dipole Both the same price
Works great for 40+ miles in California JaytheKray - El Dorado Hills, El Dorado Hills - 3/28/2013 I am using this antenna in the foothills outside of Sacramento Ca. Geographically Im in a valley with a large dense tree lined hill between myself and the broadcast stations.Originally i had it in my attic and got 18 channels. I have a concrete tile roof so I was happy with that. I decided to try it on the ridge of my roof and got 38 digital channels as well as 4 analog. Some of the channels
