The 308-2316 Professional Weather Station from La Crosse Technology provides accurate, real-time weather data straight from your backyard. This sleek station offers weather forecasting, indoor/outdoor temperature and humidity, rain and wind data, and precise atomic time-all on one comprehensive device.
With this Pro Real-Time weather center, you dont need to rely on a fashion plate on a big screen for your weather reports.
Get complete information in one source. The center displays all the key measurements of current conditions:
The current indoor temperature (32°F–139°F) and outdoor temperature (from 40.8°F–139.8°F), making it suitable for Antarctica, Death Valley and all points in between;
Barometric pressure, which is the key number to understanding what’s coming;
Wind speed (up to 110 MPH), direction and wind chill, a key measurement when the winter winds are howling;
Dew point, and relative humidity for your location, crucial data because it’s not the heat, it’s the humidity.
Weather history at your fingertips:
The weather station collects up to 140 historical weather data sets, providing the ability for you to look at trends going back several months.
The weather station provides 3 forecast icons with a tendency arrow for barometric pressure, which is the key number to understand what’s coming.
If a storm is coming, the weather station warns you with a choice of alarms, including warnings of an impending storm; wind speed; high/low temperatures; and high/low humidity. As weather changes, you’ll know what’s happening.
Accurate, capable recordkeeping:
The weather station records rainfall with min., hr., 24-hr., weekly, monthly and yearly totals, so you know whether you should consider building an arc.
Understanding the storm thats passed:
The weather station also provides a 12-hour history graph with min./max. time and date records, min/max dew point time and date; and a max. wind gust speed.
More than weather:
The weather center also functions as a timekeeping device, featuring a daily, weekly, monthly or yearly calendar, and 12/24-hour time. It also works as a HI/LO alarm clock.
This complete solution includes a wireless sensor with up to a 600-ft. transmission range, allowing you to place the sensor in a variety of locations on your property. Requires 5 AA batteries (not included); 3 for the receiver, 2 for the thermo-hygro sensor.

Recent Review: north carolina - wendell, NC - 7/18/2016 great item and easy to set up
great item and easy to set up north carolina - wendell, NC - 7/18/2016 7:09:31 AM Item was easy to put together and set up and am enjoying the ease of getting the data
Worth the price, accurate, fun to use, easy setup. RichardB - Alvarado, TX - 10/18/2016 11:13:43 AM Really have no complaints. A couple of cons. One of the tabs for the rain gauge collector broke easily when trying to take apart. Was able to repair but got to be more careful when having to take apart again. The reason for having to take apart is the black Wolf Spiders like it too and build traps inside and their webbing sticks up the rocking switch. WD40 works in both lubing the switch and repelling the spiders. Can't block the holes they are using to get in.
GREAT WEATHER STATION CDRSteve - Davenport, IA - 2/17/2016 1:42:55 PM Simply love this weather station. Have had it installed 4 about 6 months without issue. Periodically gives me a low battery warning during extremely cold weather but clears upon warm up. Will check it once Spring comes. Please note that, in contrary to feature list, this item DOES NOT give wind direction only wind speed. Have asked numerous time for SS to update ad but they have not thus far. Good buy!
Spiders love it too Rotteedad - Alvarado, TX - 1/3/2016 11:49:33 AM We first started measuring our rainfall with a plastic funnel shaped gauge we call our Analog. We keep it near the new Digital to compare. So far it has been pretty close. I'm happy except for one little problem, the drain holes below are big enough for these black Wolf spiders to get in and build a nest. When the threat of rain is coming I have to go out and clean it out because the webbing is extra sticky and stops the rocker from working. Email me if any ideas other than bug repellent to solve the problem.
Easy setup, assembly. Appears to be pretty accurate. Rotteedad - Alvarado, TX - 10/30/2015 1:32:50 PM Had it for a couple of months before we started to get some rain. At first the rain sensor wasn't working. Contacted Support and gave me a list of things to check. Second to last didn't require disassembly to find a spiders nest freezing the rocker. A week later we are getting rain and comparing with another gauge appears to be accurate. Worth the price. I recommend it.
