Recent Review: Alan in Dewatto - Dewatto, WA - 3/27/2017 Pleased.
Pleased. Alan in Dewatto - Dewatto, WA - 3/27/2017 11:00:16 AM The 4GX improved what was an weak cell signal and unusable wi-fi and made them both functional. My structure is 3000 sq ft spread over 4 levels in a remote area. I chose the 4GX because I wanted to push service through all rooms and the 4GX covers up to 5000 sq ft.
I fid not have much success determining the signal strength using the phone setting or the downloaded app, but the app did show me where the signal was coming from and where to point my outside antenna.
In making my decision I called customer setvice several times to discuss thoughts I had. One tech was much more conversational and interactive than the others (inBrianin I think) and I wish Id gotten him earlier in the process. I chose WeBoost because a quick web search listed them ad #1 in performance, and I am pleased with all aspects of foing business with them up to this point.
Worth the money for the coverage area Kiwilei - Asheville, NC - 2/13/2017 9:30:15 AM I have about 5,000 sf of area I wanted to cover with both our living space and a separate in-law apartment below and immediate surrounding area around the house on 1-acre located on a side of a mountain, 24 miles from the nearest tower. I had 1 br, maybe 2 for n instant, so I wanted to ensure I had enough boost to allow everyone to use with no problem. It is directional, so you need to make sure you get the direction right and then you may possibly have to infine-tunein it. I had to install the atenna (I bought the whole kit) at the highest point of my house to ensure it cleared the home next to me.
Also, be sure you buy the lightening surge protector ($87) as well as a rated surge protector for the inside as well to protect your investment and your warranty (see your instruction). You would think for buying the whole kit at $900, that these items would have been included, but they are not.
Price is steep, but I donftt have to worry about not having a good 3-4 bar signal anywhere around the house. If youftre on the bubble, go with this and you wonftt regret it.
Working Great! TC Holzen - Troy, OH - 2/2/2017 1:15:12 AM Works just how it was described, had a Verizon booster and it was terrible!
0 to 3 in an hour.... Edy73 - Linton, IN - 2/1/2017 11:45:16 AM We built a new home in a remote area with no cell service available. I put an 80ft tower up with the outdoor directional antenna on top, made all the connections and we now have cell service at home. I am on Verizon and my wife is on AT&T, we bith average 3 bars of 4g service now.
Simple and Works Ronald - Rocksprings, TX - 1/8/2017 8:00:12 AM Installation was easy. Installed it in a metal building. Reception inside was awful to none before. After installing, Android and Iphone had 3 bars in all rooms.
Does what it says!! Tave62 - Merryville, LA - 12/14/2016 2:45:14 AM I bought this a few weeks ago and it does what it says!! We get really good cell service anywhere in our house. I am very pleased with the product. When I called to purchase I spoke with Brandon and he went above and beyond to help me purchase for our needs. Keep up the good work!!!
Success! Michael_Bolick - Sunset, SC - 12/5/2016 6:45:12 AM I bought a cabin in the woods 10 years ago. Completely off the grid. Wanted to be able to place emergency calls if needed and maybe - just maybe - be able to read the news, surf, or watch a random Youtube video on something I was trying to fix in the woods. I had maybe 0.5 bar - text messages were reasonably reliable but nothing else was possible with Verizon service. Did a lot of research and finally picked this unit. Was at the cabin this past weekend and did the install. Wait for it... OUTSTANDING results!!! It just works. Rock solid everywhere within my 1800 sq ft cabin. Well worth the money - especially in this situation!
Worked for me! DPMAC - Bethe, CT - 12/5/2016 6:15:16 AM We have a 10K square Foot steel building. Cell Service was inokin inside the building about half the time. But people always left the office or area to go went outside when they got a call. We installed 4G-X as per the instructions and now have great cell service through out the building. The entire 2d floor had zero cell service (no bars) for years. They now have 3 bars. Great product! Breeze to install.
Out in the middle of no where Gene2489 - Browntown, WI - 11/22/2016 3:15:09 AM I purchased this product about two months ago, I live in rural Wisconsin, I was not able to talk on my phone in my house I needed to go outside to talk, and then I only had one bar. Now I have up to 4 bars, and I can now use my hotspot inside my house to go online. I did install my anttenna up in th air about 40 feet connected to a pipe attached to the side of my house, unit operated better then advertised.
Iftve got phone! Ace McG - Fletcher, MO - 11/11/2016 4:45:15 AM I am sixty years young and have purchased many electronic products over the years and I rarely give a top rating primarily due to the products dubious quality. I am happy to report to you that build, fit and finish of my We boost product is top notch.
Went from one bar to four after careful installation and a couple of coaching tips from the knowledgeable, courteous (and available!) technical staff at Weboost.
The rural isolation of southern Missouri are no hill for a climber like my Weboost!
What a difference! frank2016 - Kerrville, TX - 10/24/2016 2:45:28 AM My brother told me about this product. He was correct with his wisdom. I can now make a cell phone call inside my home with no dropped signal. The fact that it works with any of the major cell providers is a plus for my family members and friends.
User friendly Gunman - Munford, AL - 10/23/2016 9:30:33 AM Took about 2 hrs to install & setup
We installed a 6000sq ft metal building with metal inside walls as well. Gunsmithing business. Security is top priority. We had no service on our IPhones After the install. We have 4G with 5 bars at best. 4G with 3 bars at the farthest point from the antennas
Great product. Best investment weftve made. And a great tax write off

Hallelujah!!! Doc R - Clarksville, TN - 10/4/2016 12:00:46 PM Everyone (including ourselves) that has visited our home in the 13 years weftve lived in our home, have had reception on their cell phones. We blamed it on a number of factors....metal roof, living in the middle of the woods, a hill blocking signals, etc. We installed competing signal years earlier, albeit of far lessor quality, with no improvement. I discovered weBoost products at Bust Buy and researched on-line. They offered the 4G-X - 471104 model on-line but not in the store. I ordered it and had it professionally installed. We and our visitors now have reception that was impossible before due to our home being on the outer reception range of numerous towers. We could not be happier. Excellent product and installation.
Huge difference Scott54 - Evergreen, CO - 10/4/2016 11:15:57 AM I bought this booster because we bought a house that was basically in a dead zone.
We now can make calls, txt and use the WiFi.
It was simple to install.
End the isolation Didi - Glade Park, CO - 10/1/2016 10:46:17 AM We recently purchased the weBoost Connect for our remote canyon-side home that is far from landlines. Weftve had our ranch since 1999 and have tried all kinds of boosters and antennas but this is the first time weftve had dependable phone, text, and data connections. Verizon customer service told us that since they had updated to 4G service in our area we were just out of luck for coverage. With our weBoost Connect we now can pull in 3 bars of LTE service. So much better than the 1 or 2 bars of 1X we ever got with ZBoost and large directional antennas.
Rural Setup Ham Bone - Kempner, TX - 10/1/2016 7:30:15 AM We live out in the country and have limited Verizon 3G signal. On occasion we get some LTE signal, but itfts not much, and oftentimes we didnftt get any signal at all. After speaking with Tech support and looking for a stronger signal on my 3 acres, it was determined that a 4G-X would likely work well for us. It took awhile to install and get the right antenna mount for my roof, but we finally got it working. It has literally been night and day and though the investment was quit substantial, we will save money in the long run now that we donftt have to have a home phone. Tech support was excellent, and I had to call many times, but they got me through it and were very patient. We also added a Pepwave 4G Wifi Router to complete the setup, and now we are flying and have signal in every part of the house (2500 sq ft.) Highly recommended if you have weak signal.
From 1 bar / no service to 4 bars BobK - Columbus, OH - 10/1/2016 1:30:13 AM Installed in a 2 Floor house with basement. Normally with AT&T we would have 1 bar or no service. Now we have 4 bars at the antenna and coverage throughout the house (even the basement!).
weBoost 4G-X Dave67 - Winnipeg, MB - 9/30/2016 7:45:12 AM We bought the weBoost 4G-X for our cottage and are extremely happy with it. Previously we had tried 3 other booster units (various makes) but none of them worked. The 4G-X did the trick. We now have service throughout most of our cottage and on the decks for both our iphones and laptop. A powerful unit well worth the money!
Greatly amplifies the cell signal! Jimmysr1 - Magnolia, AR - 9/30/2016 6:45:13 AM We bought this for our travels in our RV. Noticed immediately that in weak areas we would have 3-5 bars with it on. In La Barge, WY at Names Hill in the RV we had great signal, but when we got out we had no signal on our phones. That is when I saw what a really good job it does. We have the taller external antenna mounted on top of our RV and the wall mount inside antenna for greater transmission inside the RV. We use the hershey bar antenna that came with it in our car. A great device and well worth the money. Weftre on AT&T too!
A great product Lonestar1848 - Fredericksburg, TX - 9/28/2016 2:00:50 AM Our location is 11 miles from the nearest cell tower, in a valley without line of sight to the tower. The weBoost took the signal strength in the house from inno servicein to a signal that varies between 1x extended to 3G extended, depending on the strength from the cell phone tower.
Works GREAT!!! john3445 - Corsicana, TX - 9/22/2016 3:45:14 AM Iftm a small business owner and rely on my phone 24/7 but do to a metal building my business is in my reception has been spotty at best. After a very easy instillation I now get full bars.Great product would highly recommend.
Great 278bar - Killdeer, ND - 9/19/2016 3:16:51 AM Love it! Without we hardly had service in my place of business
Great Customer Service MikeS - Kissimmee, FL - 9/13/2016 12:30:31 PM Unfortunately we couldnftt get it to work as well as it should. I live in Florida and our problem was that we had too many other cell towers blocking the AT&T signal to the house.
Great Cecil P - McDaniels, KY - 9/7/2016 9:30:21 AM What a difference it makes went from no signal to 4 bars
No signal to 4 bars and LTE vonwest - Park City, UT - 8/24/2016 5:30:12 AM Iftm using the 4G-X antenna on top of a 40ft tower in a rural location that had no signal. The $200 mast got the antenna over the hill to give me 4 bars for voice and LTE for data.
Easy to install! run74FAST - Dayton, OH - 8/14/2016 9:45:46 AM Bought this for a new church facility that had no cell service in the lower level. WeBoost solved the problem.
Warranty Backhoe - Dorchester County, SC - 8/12/2016 9:15:09 AM I bought it on 6/10/16 donftt know what happen we were not home . Something went wrong . They replaced it in 10 days they were out of stocks ! Works great ! Thank you ! Dave .
works as designed! morghill - Browns Summit, NC - 7/28/2016 11:31:06 AM I have a 15,000 sqft metal building/shop, this system WORKS! 4 to 5 bars from nothing before.
Great booster! Well worth the investment. Kevin M - Ariel, WA - 7/15/2016 2:00:20 AM This is my second Wilson cell booster. I live in a small river valley, nine miles away from the nearest cell tower, which is also separated by a 2000 foot ridge. Without a cell booster, the best signal I can achieve is -104 ~ -112 dB while hanging out a second floor window. My previous booster could maintain at best, enough of a signal for text messages and emails, infrequently allowing me to get internet if the stars lined up just right. Realistically speaking, still a dramatic improvement! I should also add that my coverage area was about 40 sq ft!!
I debated long and hard whether I should gamble spending around $1000.00 to achieve a more usable signal, knowing that most people wouldnftt recommend it. Fortunately for me, Iftm rarely smart enough to know when to quit! So... after receiving the new Connect 4GX I was anxious to see if I had made a wise decision. I will say, therefts good reason this kit comes with 75 feet and 50 feet of 400LL cable. Proper separation of the inner and outer antennas is not as simple as it sounds! Since this booster will not allow you to manually turn down the gain to eliminate attenuation, achieving the needed separation can take quite a bit of tweaking.
Once I was able to acquire a stable green light condition across all the frequencies, my only response is WOW! I now have fairly stable access to data frequencies, solid text and email capabilities and a usable, clear cell phone connection!! I was a bit hesitant to get too excited, because the day I hooked it up it was cloudy (this usually allows the signal from the tower to bounce off the clouds and reach my house, increasing my signal). The true test came the other day when the sky was crystal clear. I was shocked to find that my new found ability to communicate was still there!
All I can say is that Iftm stunned! For me, this booster works great. It needs to be said that it can only improve the signal its given. Iftve done a bunch of extra work, including a top dollar omni-directional external antenna to capture the best signal I can.
If you have a usable signal on the roof of your house and can physically separate the antennas by about 75 feet, I bet youftll be glad you purchase one of these!
Great features Derek112 - Grand forks, ND - 7/7/2016 11:45:36 AM Looking at it, looks nice. Wondering if o should buy it or not
Expensive But Worth It Krazy675 - Bumphuck, WI - 7/1/2016 3:45:20 AM Initial cost is hard to swallow, but it made a huge difference in my home. Before the booster, the best signal I would see was about -120Db, with the booster its down to about -60Db. Use to no be able to hold or even make phone calls, now its crystal clear anywhere in the house. I was skeptical at first if it really worked, but as long as you can make phone calls outside, and set it up properly, it really does work, and it works well.
exceeded our expectations gforce584 - Morgantown, IN - 6/16/2016 11:00:26 AM We purchased the 471104 because we have a log home where we are unable to get any level of cell service on AT&T or Verizon. We have AT&T. We had no cell service for a call and if you were in the right place in the home you may receive a text message. The home is around 2500 sq ft on three levels. Walkout basement, main level, and a loft. We hope by installing the 471104 we would have the ability to make and receive calls on the main level. While doing the soft install much to our surprise we have service on all three levels of the home and went from "no service" to all bars 4G or 2 bars of LTE. My friend came down and his phone had no service on Verizon, after the install of the 471104 he now has service. He ordered his 471104 the next week. So not very often does a product work better than you had hoped it, but in this case the 471104 has exceeded our expectations. For us it's been a really great product and life saver.
weBoost is a fast connection Patches - Roosevelt, AZ - 5/25/2016 5:30:10 AM We could not make a call from the house and now we have two to three bars 4G. Going from almost no signal to a fast speed, we will not give up our weBoost. Yes it did take some time to install it proper but worth every minute.
Great product but do your research Caladan - Whitesville, KY - 5/25/2016 5:30:10 AM Be sure to do your research about your signal strength, tower locations, possible installation locations, etc. before buying any booster. WE Boost and Wilson Amplifiers are very prompt to answer your questions before you purchase a booster.
I am in a rural area and chose the 4GX over the Connect 4G 470103 booster. I have recently switched from AT&T to Verizon. I have a company phone (basic phone) that is still on AT&T. Unless I walked outside the AT&T phone was almost useless and the new Samsung S7 Edge on Verizon was not much better. We recently installed a WE Boost Connect 4G 470103 at my office due to the building being all metal. The signal outside was about 82 dB at the office. Inside the signal is now OK but seems like the coverage area was limited. I was concerned that my whole house would not be covered (1800 sq. ft. ranch plus basement).
I have the 4GX unit installed for one week now. I went from 0-1 bar to 3-5 bars everywhere in my home, even in my basement on Verizon and AT&T. I still donftt have all 4 green lights on the unit but I have great signal indoors. I still have one orange light flashing on band 5 but the closest tower is almost two miles away and I am pointed 90 degrees from it. Orange lights can mean too close proximity to a cell tower. Beware the user manual and all vendors selling the 4GX as they still say 20 feet of vertical antenna separation or 50 feet of horizontal antenna separation is adequate. On a test run before permanent mounting I saw that I had flashing red lights meaning oscillation due to the antennas being too close to each other. WE Boost tech support directed me to installation videos that I had not found elsewhere that specifies 25 to 35 feet of vertical separation. Luckily I was mounting on an existing tower and am currently at 28 feet of vertical separation and 20 feet of horizontal separation which finally resolved the flashing red lights. These support videos about installation and the meaning of the lights go on to tell you not to worry about flashing lights (red or orange) as long as you have satisfactory signal coverage inside your home. What is really odd is that using the Cell Map and Open Signal apps to determine my actual signal outside and where it is the best (and also my phone status dB) as suggested by WE Boost videos, the higher I climbed on the tower, the worse the dB reading got (110 to 115 dB). So I was very surprised to see such great signal indoors. WE Boost typically wants a minimum of 105 dB outside signal but prefer less for their boosters to work. I am now suspect of the apps and the orientation of your cell phone when trying to use these apps. Open Signal would point to a AT&T tower even though I was looking for a Verizon tower.
All in all a good experience but take your time to do before purchase research. Since I had to mount the antenna so high on my tower, I am going to install a lightning arrestor. Plan your installation options and try some temporary antenna locations with cables running through the windows and across the floor before installing anything permanently. Proper hardware installation is just as or more important than the actual hardware itself.
Works great Pat184 - Kingston, TN - 5/13/2016 2:30:13 AM Even though I have cell towers all around me I couldnftt get more than 2 bars, maybe, outside and no bars in the house. I purchased the WeBoost Connect and once I identified the tower with the best signal we went to 5 bars in the house and 3 bars sitting on our deck. Iftm a very satisfied customer
Greatly improved reception Bob58 - Como, CO - 5/4/2016 10:45:52 AM I have a mountain property where I am able to get limited reception of 1 bar which spotty connection to make calls. The weboost unit now provides full 3 bars reception. Now I can make calls, send and receive text messages and email.
Does it what says on the tin Mike_o - Cape Cod, MA - 5/3/2016 11:00:45 AM Did exactly what we needed. Before: No signal in the basement; After: full signal throughout the house, including roaming from upstairs to downstairs. I thought that cell phone boosters were snake oil, but the 4G-X made me a believer.
Finally we have cell service! Strongbad - Toledo, WA - 4/27/2016 4:15:16 AM Great product! It does everything it was intent to do, and does it consistently. I recommend it to others who have no or weak service. My prior service was only strong enough ring the cell phones 40% of the time, and if you did answer the cell phone you usually could not hear or be heard by the other person. Iftm well please pleased!
Happy Customer Hammer - Harpursville, NY - 4/4/2016 12:30:20 PM I live in the valley and couldnftt find the tower so I purchased the all around antenna and it works great. I purchased the booster to improve signal but mostly for better data transfer rates. We have phones for AT&T and verizon and they both have full bar signal.
Ranch 3600 sq ft building David Belt - Winder, GA - 3/27/2016 8:31:00 AM At ranch have -114db and X1 for data now inside building have -75db and LTE data service. Had cross talk problems when I installed called technical support and had great support, had to raise outside antenna 3ft and all problems solved! I have Verizon service iftm 5 miles from the closest antenna now I have great cell and data service.
Easy to install/set up... Works awesome! Whistler - Galena Park, TX - 3/24/2016 9:16:45 AM Before Weboost Connect 4GX: inHello? Can you hear me?! ... Can you hear me now?!?!in
After Weboost Connect 4GX: (I have no excuses for not talking with my boss).
Gee thanks, Weboost, for ruining my life!! :P
HEAR ME NOW...WORTH IT! Serendip - Thorndike, ME - 3/17/2016 9:30:18 AM Had a previous 3G amplifier from years back (2008) and we realized it was no longer working for our phones now that they are 4G/LTE iPhones. Frustrating to say we were dropping calls as we live in the dreaded inFringein zone.
Both myself and husband are self employed. Fortunately, I am in the business of selling cellular service, and as well all of itfts accessories too! My first experience with Wilson Electronics, was when we were on the first indigital networkin with the Nokia Phones and others; it allowed for use of a direct plug in antenna!
It was awesome until the service provider then was having issues with some customers having issues with bad ports due to the antennas. The company asked all itfts Authorized Agents to sell them antenna for evaluation. The Rep commented that my price was a tad higher than the others, I retorted that I prefer to purchase better quality and that I believed Wilson was by far a better product.
One month later, the provider sent out an email to all the Authorized Agents to contact me to get the vendor name and info, and also that they could no longer sell the lesser option as they were inferior to the Wilson Electronic brand!
At that point, I knew I had a good vendor in my pocket. Now, the amplifiers had come around and because we live up here in the woods, I thought it a good idea to purchase one for our home! It worked soooo good!
I sell/sold both their Home & Mobile amplifiers and all customers are astounded how well the product is.
With all that said, I finally realized it was time to upgrade to the newest 471104 4G/LTE booster...I initially went the smaller one, but after my husband learned I had, he had me return it (never opened it) and get the bigger one! Yikes! Itfts expensive, but the difference without it is worth every penny! It covers my home from all areas, and the fact it works for all providers is a bonus!
If you do the math, and figure even at 3 years of usage, youftre paying about a $1 per day for GREAT service. I did add some extra costs, tax, pole and installation is easy peasy if you do it yourself! There is very little you can spend $1 per day and get a great BOOST at the same time!
PS I need to say that whatever you run into, do call customer service as they are there to assist you to make it work/right!
Great investment. Karlwithak - Beeville, TX - 3/9/2016 10:48:23 AM Went from 0-1 bars inside my home to a constant 4-5 bars. Saying good bye to my land lines.
Works! L and B - Jasper, TX - 3/4/2016 3:45:11 AM We have a metal building with a metal roof. Went from 1 bar 3G and lots of dropped calls and very slow data to 4 bars 4g and much faster data! Outside the building we have 2 bars of 4g. Before installing we had only 2 bars of 4g outside. Installed on roof about 8 ft higher than roof.
Must have for metal buildings. Johnt3133567 - Henry, TN - 2/29/2016 5:30:10 AM We went from 1 bar 3G and the phone cutting out to 5 bars LTE
Incredible performance John Max - Haddam, CT - 2/14/2016 1:00:09 AM I live in a super insulated house in the sticks and had to walk 3 houses down to get 1-3 bars. I installed a Wilson Desk Top unit that gave me years of intermittent 1-3 bars inside replicating down the street reception confined to certain areas of the house. I installed the 4G-X directly to my old exterior antenna and wiring and got a steady 3 bars. Support directed me to OPENSIGNAL and I found a hot spot in a different direction, I installed the new antenna and pointed it there. I now get an incredible 5 bars on both floors with a never before 3-5 bars in the basement! All with LTE and 4G! A great unit worth every penny! Thank you weBoost.
4g in a dead zone. Tarah clark - Gay, WV - 12/30/2015 9:47:01 AM Living in the rolling hills of West Virginia, cell phone signal is hit and miss at the best of times. We have dabbled before with signal boosters and while it inworkedin (until a storm fried it)you had to stand in a small area of the house. We have since upgraded to the connect 4g x and we have strong signal through out the house.
Excellent Booster BB889 - Millerstown, PA - 12/19/2015 8:30:06 AM This booster has brought service inside our Mountain Lodge which is in a very remote area. Also works great in a large metal building where service is poor outside. Service is better now inside the metal building, than outside side. Great product and works very well.
Love This for the Signal I Get Kymm - Roanke, IN - 12/19/2015 8:30:06 AM I wish I would have gotten this yearfts ago. I am able to use my phone in my house now instead of outside down the lane...Good Job !!
Awesome works great! Such a savior! Sequoia707 - Hyampom, CA - 12/17/2015 4:33:06 AM The weboost is super awesome works stellar out in middle of nowhere the best of the best!!!
Makes the Boss Happy GRSHOPR - Waterville, ME - 12/16/2015 11:15:19 AM I was told to solve our poor cell reception in our 75000 sq ft building asap. The boss was not happy that his cell phone that he uses to manage a multi million dollar company would drop calls in his office. We purchased this after some research, placed the interior antenna above his office and used a free app to help us point the outdoor antenna and presto! Happy boss and 4g service in all of the administration offices.
Works awesome in low signal areas! Backwoods tech - Bent Mountain, VA - 12/16/2015 11:15:19 AM I tried several other products but none would work. This booster has exceeded my expectations to say the least.
Greatly increases signal strenght! Nick3161 - Winter Haven, FL - 12/15/2015 10:15:10 AM Increases signal inside my metal mobile home which are notorious for blocking cell phone reception. I have had two different units in two different mobile homes and on my Verizon basic phone I went from 0 to 1 bar to a full 5 bars. I now watch the neighbors go outside to use their phones while I sit in the comfort of my home using my cell phone. I bought the 4g 471104 to use in this home because I switched to a smart phone and it works great. I also used a Wilson cell signal booster in my semi-truck over the road and it also worked great. I would recommend Wilson or weBoost products to anyone having trouble with poor cell phone reception.
bought it to use in the northwoods of Wisconsin. thambidge - Evansville, IN - 12/15/2015 10:15:10 AM I bought this as a safety accessory when hunting in the northwoods of wisconsin. place where i previously had no bar or no service I was connected! Simple to use simple to set up great product.
Perfect Old goat - Westminster, SC - 12/14/2015 9:48:07 AM Great product, easy to install, tech.support very helpful. Would definitety purchase another
Great mobile reception in the Great Plains. John77 - Scottsbluff, NE - 12/14/2015 9:48:07 AM We travel in northeastern Colorado, western Nebraska and southwestern South Dakota frequently. Previously there were large areas of no cell phone service using just the phone, installed WeBoost and now we have service 99% of the time. Occasionally service drops when we drive into a low spot. Iftm ready to buy another WeBoost for my other car.
From No Service to 3 bars casacabo - Las Vegas, NV - 12/14/2015 9:48:07 AM We have a house in a remote area in Mexico. Cell service only on roof of house then we added the WeBoost and now we have excellent service in the house.
Great so far! CoastalSequim - Sequim, WA - 12/12/2015 9:31:03 AM Great so far! I received my 4G-x about two weeks ago. Placed it in my car and Iftm getting two extra bars strength on AT&T all around my town of Sequim WA. No more dead areas in Sequim. Soon I will transfer it to my RV and see how it does with the trucker antenna and the internal panel antenna
Went from barely any signal to no dropped calls! bsandmw - Lyons, CO - 12/10/2015 10:30:07 AM My partner and I bought this booster for our rural mountain home with the hopes of boosting the very weak signal we received to something useable. The customer service at weboost was incredibly helpful in first talking us through whether or not if it would even be worth purchasing and then helped us determine not only the best type of booster but also the best location to place the antenna. We installed the booster several weeks ago now and our signal is very useable for phone calls and text messages, which we could barely even send before. Our signal still disappears once we get too far from the inside antenna, but customer service clearly told us this would likely happen due to our weak incoming signal before we even bought the booster. Itfts the best money weftve spent on our move, and weftre really grateful to weboost for making the process as easy as possible.
Best investment ever... Barb51 - Jourdanton, TX - 12/10/2015 10:30:07 AM I live in a valley in a very rural part of Texas with lots of brush and tree foliage. Cell phone towers are few and far between. Before I purchased and installed this booster I usually had to drive about 2 miles up a hill to receive a signal. Or, in the winter (when foliage was decreased), I could climb to the top rail of the cattle pens in hopes of picking up a signal. Since installing the booster, I have cell phone service, not just in the house but for about 30 yards surrounding the house. I do have a land line but the underground cable lines are over 50 years old and that service has been just as bad or worse than the cell service. As far as Iftm concerned, buying this booster was the smartest move I made in 2015.
Powerful booster Bluebird78 - Birmingham, AL - 12/10/2015 10:30:07 AM Bought this booster because we could not use our cell phones inside the house. We had to step outside to keep a call from dropping. After installing the WeBoost, we now have great coverage inside and out, plus our 4g works for the internet!
Only divice that ever worked for my use. Rczubaj1 - Western, NY - 12/10/2015 10:30:07 AM This device is the only thing that has ever word to get signal in and around my house for phone and data. I will 100% recommend this to any and everyone.
Great booster yoderboatin - New Galilee, PA - 12/10/2015 3:30:17 AM We bought two for two offices in remote areas. They work great. Went from one or less bars to three. We were able to use a verizon broadband router to get internet to one remote location that could only get satellite.
Dream come true Esnorkel - Fulton, MO - 12/10/2015 3:30:17 AM I have lived in my house, out in the boonies, for almost 10 years. My cell phone coverage in the basement was one bar, if lucky. I had to place my I-Phone half way up the stars to get any coverage. If someone called me on my cell phone, I usually had to stand on the front porch in order to talk to them. I talked my husband into trying the 4G-X, for he wanted to get a cheaper model. It is great! I now have 4-5 bars in the basement and I donftt have to stand outside to talk to anyone.
Does what it says - Customer Service was Awesome vpatterson - Champaign, IL - 12/10/2015 3:30:17 AM I bough this unit for our hotel. We have a dead-spot in our basement level, where our meeting rooms are located. This unit gave us the 4G LTE coverage we needed for our guests. The best part was WeBoost customer service. They helped us tremendously to get our unit installed. They were always a pleasure to talk to.
Awesome Product! Bill M - Sumter, SC - 12/10/2015 3:15:19 AM We bought this a few months ago and it works great! If your skeptacle, donftt be. Installation was simple. Anyone who can use hand tools will be able to install this unit. The instructions are detailed and accurate.
Before this unit I would get zero G and 1-2 bars which would fade in and out (mostly out). Now I get 4G and 4-5 bars all the time. If you have cell phone sinal issues, buy the weBoost! Youftll glad you did!
Gotta Seriously Look at this product !! David V Texas - Oakwood, TX - 11/25/2015 9:45:07 AM I purchased 23 acres of land in Texas. I was very frustrated as I could not get any cell coverage at all, no bars at all. I did get 5 bars LTE about 6 miles away. I purchased this product, laid the outdoor antenna on the deck of the cabin, did not even unroll the cable to the indoor antenna, unrolled the cable to the outdoor antenna and immediately had 1 bar. I knew then it was working. I then purchased a small pipe and used it as an antenna mast for the outdoor antenna, with 20 feet of pipe for the antenna mast I get 3 bars LTE on my phone. I can make calls, use my AT&T Hot Spot within the cabin. REALLY NICE PRODUCT WORTH THE $$.
From dropped calls and 1 bar w/ 3g to 3bars and4g JoshuaP - Wetumpka, AL - 8/26/2015 8:30:45 AM Installation was pretty straight forward. I had to do an external mount to a mast. Great improvement over what I had. Only issue was in line lightening surge arrestor didnftt come with a cable to tie it in to system, but tech support took care of me. Product exceeded my expectations.
Amazing improvement in cell service! Calex1221 - Centralia, IL - 8/26/2015 4:15:22 AM Have had the connect 4g-x for about a week now and the amount of increased signal is great. Before we installed the booster our phones had one bar of 3G on the best days but usually stayed on 1x. Now my son even gets LTE in the basement and he couldnftt be happier.
Historic Sandstone Commercial BuildingC Bell Block - Trinidad, CO - 8/23/2015 7:16:47 AM Installed in a large 3 floor historic sandstone building in which there was previously no service available on the lower 2 floors in which a restaurant and beauty shop were located. This situation was rectified with the installation of the inConnect 4G-Xin. All of my tenants are now very happy with the availability of a strong cell signal of 3 to 4 bars.
Fantastic product, fantastic support department!! Gary S - Westerlo, NY - 8/5/2015 12:32:14 PM I had no bars to 1 bar of service in my house which was frustrating to say the least. I purchased the Connect 4G-X which we installed in half an hour an went to 4 bars 4G and 3 bars LTE!! I called tech support with registering questions and was extremely satisfied with with their service. All around a great experience!!
It Works.... Slick Rick - Tupelo, MS - 7/30/2015 11:46:17 AM I purchased two of the Connect 4G-X. They were delivered on time. Installation was breeze and my users are HAPPY !!!!!
We had little to no service on our property, not even a 3g signal. Verizon says there's 4g in our area but the terrain is so up and down its spotty in most areas. We climbed a little more than 50 ft up a tree, and mounted the antenna there pointing in the general direction of the cell tower. With just a cell phone as our signal meter we were able to get a FULL, solid 4g signal with 21mbps down and 5mbps upload!!I bet with a real meter we could have gotten a better signal! Logan - cheney, WA - 7/19/2015 8:22:32 PM Very impressed with the wilson amplifier! and have recommended their products to lots of people, and or coarse we recommend solid signal for the best place to buy from. When i bought my antenna it was very new and was a little differnt from older models. It used a different cable than others but soldi signal was quick to show me what cord i needed. I got a extra 75' cable from them because we mounted the antenna a little far away from the trailer. Everything we got was great quality and packaged very nicely. If you are on the fence about this amp or a cheaper one get this one, the extra few DB is a huge increase in signal strength. Thanks Solid signal!!! We are streaming TV and playing games out in the middle of no where thanks to you guys!
What a change RRIT - Red Bank, NJ - 7/12/2015 10:15:27 AM I am the IT guy in a 16K office suite with roughly 125 cell phones, From Iphones to android, and on all 4 different carriers. Before we had staff with one bar or no service. With the Connect 4G-x everyone now has 4-5 bars of service across all carriers listed. Install was a snap and i had the complete kit up and running in two hours. I very highly recommend this system kit.
Was amazed to see the difference bikermike21 - Creston, CA - 6/10/2015 10:30:08 AM I recently installed a weBoost 4G-X in my home in Creston CA. I used to need to walk outside and stand out there to complete a cell phone call. Once the booster system was installed in my home I can now be anywhere in the home and enjoy Voice and data no matter where I am located inside, I even get better signal on the patio from the signal leaking out of the walls and windows! I will not delay installing one of these systems in the future.
would rate 5 stars if it more reasonably priced scubajim - Cedar Park, TX - 4/14/2017 8:15:34 AM Went from 1 or no bars to 3-5 bars. No more dropped calls, yeah.
Achieved cellular coverage under our steel roof DCRGSH - Topeka, KS - 1/16/2017 12:00:22 PM This replaced a previous booster (so external antenna was in place as was on inside antenna). We have a steel roof and no longer were able to consistently maintain cellular coverage in the house. Replaced old unit with weBoost and immediately got coverage on upper floor from existing inside antenna. Had to add second inside antenna to get coverage at far end of home (80+ft) and basement (put in attic facing down). Now have complete coverage and can talk on cell phone and use cellular data capabilities throughout the house. Pleased..gave 4 stars as I wish I did not have to add the second internal antenna to the booster.
Lake Cabin owner Lake Guy - Blue Springs, MO - 8/31/2016 8:45:20 AM We own a cabin at a lake in Missouri. We have had a land line for years, but no long distance with it. The price has continued to increase to the point the use of the land line was not worth the price tag. However our cell service was unreliable, weak, or non existent at times. So we began researching our options and found the cell booster from weboost. The price was very high for us, and will take 3 to 4 years to pay it off, so it was a gamble. We decided to try it, so four weeks ago we installed the system, roughed in, not permanent. We have monitored it the past several weekends with good to great results. My phone went from one or two bars to three or four and even five at times. My wives phone, different kind then mind, has also seen increased signal. We can get some data, weather, other services that we could not get before or would be very slow. Our battery life has improved since the phones are not searching for signals all day. We can even venture outside on the deck, the parking lot, and even to the boat dock with improved signal strength. We will see this Labor Day weekend how our relatives phones work, hopefully better than before. Tomorrow I will be canceling our land line.
Made a Big Difference in Our Remote Location Dan C - Ely Township, MI - 7/15/2016 8:15:24 AM Installed at our cabin in Upper Michigan 10 miles from nearest cell tower. Prior to installation cell device was in reliable varying from No Service to 2-Bars 3G. After installing service varies from 2-Bars LTE to 5-Bars LTE.
very good product !! mbailey - Warrensburg, NY - 3/28/2016 9:16:20 AM I have a cabin in the Adirondacks in NY. Cell service is -110 to -125. Weboost doesnftt recommend this product for such bad service (nothing worse than -95 to cover their butt understandably). Weboost offers a 30 day money back guarantee if not satisfied though, which is very important if your considering to spend the money(this was the deciding factor in my purchase with these guys). I installed it and was surprised that I now have service (-85 to -95). Except when the clouds roll in low, then it gets sketchy, but you canftt boost zero service. Overall, this product works. Only critique is that it does not cover the square footage inside as advertised. The 12ft by 20ft room the interior antenna is in is great, the service drops significantly in the adjacent 14ft by 14ft room (goes from 4 bars down to 1). Itfts a very pricey unit but if your on the edge of service this product will boost as advertised. A bit of constructive criticism to Weboost would be to offer different size wire for the hookup from the booster to the interior antenna. The 60ft provided is way to much for the average customer in my opinion (I only used a two foot piece). I think It would also cut down on the db loss and you wouldnftt have to deal with hiding all the extra wire. Offering lesser cable runs should increase your profit margin and would be a custom fit for each customer.
Works great in floral cooler! cmoore - Romulus, MI - 3/23/2016 12:15:21 PM We were looking for a solution to get good quality cellular signal in our floral cooler. Big, thick, walls lined with up to 12 inches of foam, sheet metal and concrete. Ordered this up and had it installed. Works very well. Went from absolutely ZERO signal in the cooler to 2, 3 and 4 bars depending on carrier. Makes cell phones COMPLETELY usable in the cooler with full signal and in many cases, fluid video with FaceTime, etc.
Also splitting off to a second transmission antenna in our sales room directly adjacent to the cooler. Cell phone signal has always been terrible in this building. Now all users are experiencing very good service when in range of the transmission antennas.
Great service TMJ777 - Richmond, VA - 3/7/2016 10:15:18 AM I can now use 4G/LTE where I had NO SERVICE! The only thing I would improve would be to have the ability to order the length of cable you need. The standard order came with significantly more cable than needed. So I had to order a smaller (2 ft) connector. But the service I receive from the unit is astounding.
Rural station Rcar - Lytle, TX - 3/7/2016 10:15:18 AM I bought this last year but it was hit by lighting I called customer service and they sent a replacement right away very pleased. The booster works very wel I had 1 or less bars and with booster got 3-4 bars itfts great
Rural Savior ChasD - Linwood, MN - 12/15/2015 10:15:10 AM Very easy to set up if you are somewhat handy. You do not have to be a technical genius to get it to work, it is truly plug and play. The interior antenna does not give as strong of a signal as I thought it would. It still gets the job done for my house.
I have not installed it yet Bubba - Richmond, VA - 12/10/2015 3:30:17 AM I have not gotten it installed yet. I feel sure it will be a great help. Where we are the current un-boosted signal is extremely bad.
less hype would hep happynot - Reedville, VA - 9/28/2015 2:15:26 AM Just finishing a long weekend installing and living with my new 4g-x. I can say that I am happy with the improvement in signal but disappointed with the amount of improvement based on the hyperbole on the wilson sites. 70 db gain , up to 10,000 sq ft house baloney !
Depending on which measurement tool you use the best improvement in LTE was just shy of 50 db, that with the inside antenna about 2 ft directly in front of my verizon incantennain. phone (4g) showed about 25db-30db gain when in the rooms directly in front of the antenna. We have a 5000 sq ft house and there is improvement in maybe 25-33 % of the house.
Donftt get me wrong that is a big improvement BUT from the materials on the web sites I would have expected such improvements from the $500 system not the $900 system, I expected better.
Not What I was expecting. Frankie80462 - Strathroy, ON - 2/24/2017 8:45:20 AM We purchased this unit for an area that is predominantly in a metal tin can. The system has improved the signal but the best I can get in terms of the indoor unit LED indicators is all flashing green. none are in a solid green state. the external antenna is mounted on top of a 60 foot tower, the internal antenna is mounted in the room directly below it. Maybe we purchased the wrong model for this application.
Good, but it canftt do any better than outdoors! Weak Signal too - Vineland, NJ - 7/13/2016 10:45:30 AM I bought this a month ago and installed it in my office last week. We used to get no signal inside and had to walk outside for a spotty, but usually adequate signal. Now we get the same spotty but usually adequate signal inside. I donftt know why I expected better, your literature clearly said that is all weftd get....
Served itfts purpose but didnftt really boost signal redhillaz - vail, AZ - 3/9/2016 1:15:12 AM I live in a valley a ways from the city. I found that about 30ft above my house I could get a couple of bars of cell coverage whereas in my house I had zero coverage. I bought the Connect 4G-X thinking it would actually allow me to boost those two bars and deliver them to my house. I put the antenna on a 40ft pole and installed the other antenna in my house. I now have 2 bars coverage in my house with both data and cell available which is what I wanted. That part is great, I was just expecting to actually boost the signal that I can receive with my phone at the point the main antenna is placed. It is awfully pricey but for my application it was worth it, I now have cell coverage in my house and have dropped my internet phone.
Solid, if not overly optimistic about range Wireless Turtle - Southbridge, MA - 1/5/2016 4:45:17 AM After installing the 4G-X we did indeed get a boost in ambient signal from a -120 mDb to about a -90. We are hoping to erect a mast to get the booster external antenna clear over the 30ft roof top to hopefully catch a slightly better signal. As of right now, where the antenna is mounted had an ambient -97 and is broadcasting between a -85 to -90 directly in front of the internal antenna. Sadly, this level of performance does not cover more than half of our 3,000 square foot home (well short of the optimistic 7500 sq.ft. listed).
I will gladly change my rating if increasing the current 25 feet up to 40 works, but as of right now I can claim it does boost, but not to the level claimed or to my expectation of the rather steep price of the unit (which I would gladly have paid if it simply covered the 3,000 square feet of our home.)
