Sonora power inserters couple regulated DC voltage on coax cables while allowing the DBS signal to pass through the inserter. DC Power originates from switching, short circuit protected transformers.

Specs

Used along with the Multidish hms5x8, TSA516 DAT , TSA520DAt and TSAT524DAT along with Zinwel wb68 for the AT9 or Slim Line Dish

DirecTV (4) receiver systems use the voltages and control signals from the receivers to power the AT9 dish and to select the desired polarity per output cable. DirecTV specifi es a maximum receiver to dish distance of 100 feet.

Sonora recommends the use of solid copper center conductor RG-6 cable.

Model HDPID1422 generates powering and control signals necessary to remove the burden from DBS receivers. Control signals from the receivers are blocked by the HRPID1422 so the AT9 dish is not confused by multiple out of phase control signals.

The AT9 dish is commanded by the HRPID1422 to output the (4) polarities that can be amplified and split into multiple WB68 switches. (The LA142a amplifi ers are placed between the dish and the HRPID1422 so they are powered by the HRPID1422.)
