Description

This Blue Sea (ON)-OFF-ON SPDT Contura rocker switch is used to control bilge pumps, and mounts in Blue Sea Systems’ panels. This Contura switch is vibration-, shock-, thermoshock-, moisture-, and salt spray-resistant. It also features one embedded LED that is rated 100,000 hours 1/2 life. (Indicates the “ON” position.) These water resistant switches are ignition protected for safe installation aboard gasoline-powered boats. They have a temperature rating of -40 degrees to 85 degrees Celsius (-40 degrees to 185 degrees Fahrenheit).

These Contura switches are single pole double throw (SPDT) switches. SPDTs have three terminals: one common pin and two pins, which vie for connection. This means the units are used to select between two power sources, swap inputs, and other functions with two circuits that try to go one place.
