They’re perfect for installing fire alarms or any type of signaling device. 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch knockouts, screw hole patterns for both 4 x 4 and dual gang devices, and an adjustable steel bracket that holds the box securely against the wall make this box a great choice for retrofit. It fits wall thicknesses up to 1 ¼ inches.
