An antenna amplifier can help strengthen your TV signal. This signal booster makes up for signal loss from long cable runs and splitters. Increase antenna signal strength easily and affordably. Get better HDTV signal reception than you would with a non-amplified splitter. This product utilizes a 54-1002 MHz operating frequency.

The second one I've used (sold my previous house and left it with the buyer). Works very well! ComputerGeek - Kernersville, NC - 11/27/2015 8:57:39 PM Works great as a distribution splitter/amplifier. I used an attic mounted Clearstream 2V (directional UHF - all the channels in the area broadcast in the UHF range) and an antenna pre-amp to the CM3418 (unpowered) and it wasn't performing well. I switched to using the CM3418 for both the distribution and the amplifier and removed the pre-amp after discovering I was getting good signal with the antenna directly connected to a single TV. Upped the number of channels I received from 24 (marginally on a few) to 30 (I also shortened my runs going out from the CM3418 by centrally locating the unit to the TVs). Signal/Noise Ratio is now excellent on almost all channels. The only one not very good is off center but still receiving it from 22 miles away and it is at a 90 degree from the main N/S direction where most of the channels originate. I bought another CM3418 years ago in the Des Moines area and had good success with it as well.
HIGH QUALITY CONSTRUCTION Larry - Mesa, - 3/28/2013 This is a very robustly constructed product. It has very low self noise and seems to be a first rate product.Great for splitting the output from an antenna up to eight ways plus add some gain without degrading the signal.

Great Product Bobz - Myrtle Beach, rtle Beach S - 2/4/2012 Using this amplifier along with DB=8 antenna for OTA HD reception installed now for about one year. This amp distributes to every room in the house pre-wired for cable and does a great job. I am very pleased. Only down side for some users is requirement for access to 110v AC outlet for power near the amp. Next will be a rotor to turn the antenna for more channels.
so far so good Todd the no mor - Berks County PA, Berks County PA - 3/28/2013 so far so good once I had to unplug because signal was breaking up since then working ok. I am using it with 2 antenna setup and combiner which is tough to keep a good signal to begin with. (2 UHF VHF Antennas facing different locations) terminators for unused outputs were not included
Almost perfect jelmore - Tulsa, - 3/28/2013 An excellent job of passing through video signals. Nice to be able to feed 8 HD signals. Had a little trouble with return path voltage so had to do an upstream split for the cable modem and bypass the splitter.
