I bought one last fall and it worked good through the winter but as I live in a super deep fringe area still had fade out this summer. So I bought another one and stacked them, now it works much better. I receive 63 + channels most of them from D FW. 124 miles away. of course I also have a pre anp as antenna array is at 50 foot high and another 50'; to the tv.

this is an awesome antenna

I roof mounted the MXU59 and can pull in UHF and VHF even though it is not rated for VHF stations over 60 miles away. My PBS channel45 miles away is rated no reception in my area and I get it at 90%! It has surpassed my expectations. I highly recommend this antenna. The only thing I didnt like that it uses a 1 mast pipe and my rotor requires a larger mast so I clamped the antenna to the smal
Great long distance antenna

This is a great deep fringe UHF antenna. If there is a downside it is that it may be a little too directional resulting in sudden losses that other less precise antannas would still receive. The flip side is how deep it gets.I would rank it in my top 2 or 3 UHF deep antennas that I have purchased over the years for testing.
This one really WORKS!!!!

I am 84 to 113 miles from 2 tower complexesbehind a hill lots of big pine trees.I bought the mxu 59 to compare to my 91xg on two seperate down leads and converter boxes(same model)65ft. up a tree. The mxu works better below ch 35 in my situation.Im happy with both antennas. These long antennas are hard to aim at 84 milesit going to take more time.

I installed two UHF antennas aimed at two different towers with CM Preamps. Im recieving channels from 80 plus miles away and the HD picture is beyond any cabel connection. Its awsome receiving 30 plus HDTV channels for free and the crew at Solid Signal could not have been more helpful. They made it easy. You do the math. $75 per month x 120 = $9000 Oh I better deduct the mere $300.00 I spent to
great for hard to get channels
