Smart Sensor Non-Contact Digital IR Instant Laser Thermometer (IRTHERM716)

Works pretty well from everything from checking the heat of my grill surface to checking the temperature of the plastic resin I'm using in my 3d printer. Take the temp. of things, you shouldn't touch, or can't reach, easily. This works similar to my digital calipurs, as another review mentioned, taking out the batteries helps this last a lot longer.

product works good on reading the temps. ONLY PROBLEM IS YOU MUST DISCONNECT THE 9VOLT BATTERY OR THE BATTERY WILL DIE ..unit continues to drain/kill the battery ..
