They work ,The Standing wave is a little high ,but OK.

I purchased 2 of these antennas for my Ranger 99n2 and the combination could not be better my radio is rated at 200 Watts and these antennas are rated at 400 Watts each they are mounted on my side mirrors and with their light weights in the wind rolling down the road I get no vibration on my mirrors. The antennas can handle the full power of my radio and then some. If you're looking for a great antenna at a great price and won't create wear and tear on your mirrors you don't need to look any further. In 38 years of driving this antenna by far is the best I've owned.
