so far in the few months i ve been useing this anntena it s doing pretty good, transmitt good, great match out the box. hearing could be better

Mounted Tram 1499 on 22 foot tall-- inch and a half pvc mast with wooden pole insert for stiffness. Far from trees and structures on a small hill in deep rural central Mississippi. Using 100 ft. of new RG8 coax. Had it two months. Getting LSB skip channel 35, 36, 38, 40 from UK, Australia, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Cost Rica, all over USA, Mexico, Canada, Hawaii, Bermuda, etc. Depends on time of day and skip conditions, mostly clear and loud. Getting skip on all 40 AM bands. Able to get all seven weather channels loud and clear. Transmitting not so good, but have contacted Beaufort, SC as longest contact. Using a barefoot professionally tuned and aligned President McKinley radio.
