Very big antenna that does the job

This antenna is massive! It works great though, pulls in Lo-V signals that I had issues with in the Philadelphia area.

Not the best instructions. Could be a little more information or bigger pictures. Alot bigger than thought. Had to drill out some of the holes. And the back wing part all them hole were not in a line like the rest off it. I figured it was made on a Friday. Made in the USA so wasn't impressive with the quality of lining up the holes so it goes together better. Did put a old boost I had on it. Picked up 40 plus channels. That impressed me. Live in the country 60 miles from any big city. Been up 2 weeks works great from what I can tell. Haven't had any wind yet. I'll Rate it at a 4 for now.
Couldn't be happier. It's big, but it pulls in new channels for us!

Installed this antenna in June to replace one of those cheapy plastic ones with built in amp and rotor. Was trying to fix occasional pixilation one some channels and pick up a low VHF channel that the old antenna could not. Could not be happier with the results. Picking up the low VHF channel without issue. Pixilation is gone. Mounted on 5' mast (also from Solid Signal) on my 2 story roof approx 30' from ground. Some of my attic still blocks the signal. I have transmitters in two different directions (12 miles at 27 degrees, 28 miles at 287). Picks up everything! No amp needed. Only complaint is the little transformer that connects to the antenna and outputs the coax has very fragile 'fork' connectors and very thin wire. I broke one off and ended up clipping off the connectors and wiring direct to the terminals on the antenna. Don't bother with the manual, watch the video on the SolidSignal product page. The antenna was better than expected, I previously was picking up about 20 channels that were intermitting , and now picking up 60 that are clear. I am very pleased.

Improved reception & Picture

Assembly instructions were sketchy and difficult to follow without a large clear picture. I'm more a visual learner. Attenna works well - one station at the 70 mile limit doesn't always come in but picked up a few others . At least 27 stations.
great antenna

Very pleased with this antenna. from my location in Mississippi I have been able to pick up the following . Meridian, Mobile Alabama, Gulfport/ Biloxi, Hattiesburg ,and Jackson. The only stations I have not been able to pick up so far is New Orleans Lousiana, but the weather has been very cold and overcast. I have hopes when the weather clears up I can rescan and pick up New Orleans.

This antenna replaces one just like it that has gotten damaged over time, the old one was used when I got it. I live 70 miles from Jacksonville Fl. and I pick up 42 over the air tv stations and substations. I am using a cheap amplifier that came with a $30. antenna, the cheap antenna didn't work very well. I also used 2 pieces of chain-link fence top rail ( 1-1/4" x 10.5' each ) for a mast that gets it up high enough for good reception.
