This is a large antenna and relatively complex and cumbersome to build and handle, but great for distant signals. I am getting 30 plus stations from over 50 miles. Longest is 65 miles. Good price, good quality.

Box FULL of aluminum, intimidating but logical and very easy to put together. Only needed the manual to find where to hook up the balun. I live 100 miles west of Omaha Ne. Three stations 50 to 70 miles southwest, have always been hit or miss, now solid 3 to 4 bars. Two powerful stations 70 miles southeast, 5 bars consistent. Omaha, 100 miles and very rarely got any stations there. Now consistently get two stations at 2 or 3 bars. No preamp. I am thoroughly impressed at the mechanical quality and the performance.
My HD8200XL problem.

This is my second HD8200XL OTA antenna in 20 years. I keep losing the dipoles section for channels 7& 9 because the plastic that holds this antenna snaps off in the wind. I suspect the Sun or the birds. this antenna does all that it claims it can do. Mine is mounted on a tower in a hilly area at 2200 ' of elevation and receives 60 stations from 125 miles away.

Received antennae promptly. No instructions enclosed. Tried to access install from the upc scan code on the box. Still could not access. Not every one is computer savvy.
