The NF162012V series uses the same rugged components as the NF14 series in a larger size to accommodate larger and more equipment. Two 4 inch air vents covered by rain shields with cleanable screens help expel heat from the installed equipment.

The enclosure is molded from durable, UV resistant fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP) with a UL94-5V flame rating. The FRP is dent-proof, non-conductive and RF transparent for compatibility with wireless equipment, and the installer can drill and modify it as needed. Improved stainless steel hinges with high quality 316 steel hinge pins provide lasting durability in even the harshest coastal conditions, and the gasketed door includes stainless steel quick release latches with padlock hasps.
