RF Transparent Design

The Altelix NF162012 Series Enclosures are designed with all the same rugged components as our NF14 Series enclosures, but in a larger size to accommodate larger and more equipment. This NEMA 4X enclosure is ideal for protecting wireless equipment from harsh environments and tampering. It is molded from durable and UV resistant fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP) with a UL94-5V flame rating. These enclosures feature improved stainless steel hinges with high quality 316 steel hinge pins for lasting durability in even the harshest of coastal conditions. The gasketed door includes stainless steel quick release latches with padlock hasps.

This JIC style enclosure is dent-proof, corrosion resistant and UV stable. The FRP material is non-conductive and RF transparent. It is suitable for use in the harshest outdoor environments. It can be drilled and modified by the installer to suit unique site requirements.

No-Drill Non-Metallic Equipment Plate
This configuration consists of the FRP enclosure with hinged lid and a 1/4" thick non-metallic PVC plate for mounting and securing equipment. Due to the "No-Drill" design of this PVC plate, mounting radios and other equipment can be done simply by using self-tapping screws.

Wireless Compatibility
This RF transparent enclosure and non-metallic equipment mounting plate are ideal for wireless applications including WiFi, RFID, iOT, Cellular and more. The non-metallic materials will not interfere with the operation of wireless gear. The generous size of this enclosure and the extended lid accommodate a wide range of equipment.

Increased Interior Space
The NF162012 series enclosures feature an extra deep lid, over 3 inches deep. With the generous size of this enclosure and extended lid the NF162012 can accommodate a wide range of equipment.

Mounting
Stainless steel brackets are included for secure wall mounting. Optional flange and pole mounting kits are available.
