The enclosure is molded from durable, UV resistant fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP) with a UL94-5V flame rating. The FRP is dent-proof, non-conductive and RF transparent for compatibility with wireless equipment, and the installer can drill and modify it as needed. Improved stainless steel hinges with high quality 316 steel hinge pins provide lasting durability in even the harshest coastal conditions, and the gasketed door includes stainless steel quick release latches with padlock hasps.

Internal 6U 19" Equipment Rack

The standard 19" 6U equipment rack accommodates a wide range of equipment. The rack frame mounts to a 2.0mm thick aluminum plate, which can also be drilled and modified by the installer to unique site requirements.

Installation Note: The max. depth of the rack is 9.5" (241mm). Before ordering please check the dimensions of the equipment to be installed to ensure proper fit.

Dual Cooling Fans Ventilation

This enclosure features dual 4" vents and dual thermostat controlled cooling fans. The low noise, high airflow fans help maintain lower internal temperatures by providing air flow through the enclosure. The fans turn on when the internal temperature reaches 100°F (38°C) and turn off when it drops to 79°F (26°C). Both fans are wired internally, so they do not require the use of the AC outlets, leaving them available for internal equipment use. Rain shrouds on the front door keep rain water from entering the enclosure.

Cable Glands

The enclosure features unique PG-16 cable glands with a closed inner seal, installed in the open ports to maintain the NEMA rating when not in use. When required, punch a hole through the inner membrane, run your cables and tighten for a water-tight seal.

Mounting

Stainless steel brackets are included for secure wall mounting. Optional flange and pole mounting kits are available.
