Altelix 17x14x9 Polycarbonate + ABS Vented RF Transparent Outdoor WiFi Enclosure with No-Drill PVC Equipment Mounting Plate

The Altelix NP171409VM NEMA enclosure is ideal for protecting devices from harsh environments and tampering, while allowing ventilation for installed equipment or batteries. It features an extra deep lid providing additional depth.

Increased Interior Space
This enclosure features an extra deep gasketed lid, over 4 inches deep. With the generous size of this enclosure and extended lid the NP171409VM can accommodate a wide range of equipment.

Ventilation
The NP171409VM features two vents with rain shields to help expel heat from inside the enclosure. Screens on the inside of the vents can be removed and cleaned as required.

No-Drill Non-Metallic Equipment Plate
Included with this enclosure is a 10mm thick non-metallic PVC plate for mounting and securing equipment. Due to the "No-Drill" design of this PVC plate, mounting radios and other equipment can be done simply by using self-tapping screws.

Note: this enclosure is also available with an aluminum equipment mounting plate (see NP171409VP) and without an equipment mounting plate (see NP171409V).

RF Transparent Design
The NP171409VM is ideal for WiFi applications. The non-metallic design of both the enclosure and equipment mounting plate will not interfere with the radio's operation. The size of this enclosure will fit a wide range of popular wireless access points on the market.

Secure Your Equipment
These NP series enclosures feature dual stainless steel quick release latches. A stainless steel security screw with keys and a provision for a padlock is also provided.

Polycarbonate + ABS Protection Built to Last
This enclosure is molded out of UV resistant Polycarbonate + ABS, an industrial grade plastic with greater strength and durability than standard ABS. This enclosure can be easily drilled and modified by the installer to suit unique site requirements.

Complete with Cable Grommets and Wire Management Accessories
This enclosure includes an assortment of cable grommets and cable glands that can be installed in the knock-out holes for a weather resistant seal. Also included in the accessory kit are wall anchors, zip ties, wire management loops, hook-n-loop tape, ground wire, (2) door locking keys and more.

Multiple Mounting Options
This enclosure features (4) external mounting feet which can be used for wall mounting or with our optional pole mounting kit. Mounting points are also provided inside the enclosure. These can be easily drilled out and used for applications requiring a more secure installation.

Customization
We offer numerous standard models and options including equipment mounting plates, DIN rails, AC or DC power, air vents, cooling fans and heaters and more.
