Needs more adapters (1.5")
by smoke
Decent non directional antenna. Gained a few channels that were off axis from my old standard antenna. Lost a little signal in lower bands but still receive OK. Wish it came with a 1.5" mount plate, ended up cutting off the 1" pipe it came with and bolting to the mast to mount to my old tripod.
It does what it claims and more

Excellent product, easy installation. I’m pulling in channels from 70 miles away and it’s only about 6 inches above my roof line.
Outstanding performance in picking up stations in three different directions, 45 + miles away.

Installed this on a 10 foot mast off the side of our fireplace by using a 1 1/4" EMT coupling over the antenna mount hub and ran coax through the mast. Some shimming for the coupling to mast was added but all in all a nice fit. I elevated the antenna due to the need to get about as high as the roof peak, which would have blocked the antenna from line of site to the two broadcast directions. I couldn't be happier with the performance of this antenna that picks up stations from three different directions with the furthest being at least 45 miles from my location. The neighbors may wonder what is hovering over the back of my house, but far less noticeable than the multiple roof mounted dishes around this neighborhood. This antenna is a bargain compared to the two attic mounted antennas it has replaced.
Love this Omni-Directional Antenna
by Bob Y
Negatives: The L shaped pipe is a little sloppy where it fits into the plastic mast mount bracket, where it doesn't hang level. I am just picky. Lift the horizontal pipe up level, prop it with a tiny wedge, throw some GE silicone in and you're good to go. The silicone will also stop the wind from lifting the pipe up and down in a wind storm. Positives: Picks up every major channel that is available in my area. Picks up stations from all different directions. My furthest channel is 35 miles away. Love this antenna, would recommend and would buy another.
Good compact antenna
by JJJ
Compact size is great and there is good signal gain about 15 miles from the transmission tower. Would suggest selling a larger omni directional antenna with a 21 inch diameter vice the 14 inch diameter to pick up fringe area signals.
good quality ease installation
by Cameron
good quality picture with steady reception from 23 miles to the closet broadcast tower

to stabilize upper end vhf channels
by John jones
I got the product it was packed very well. I was finally able to install it on saturday. It was mostly easy to install but I did have a specific mounting product from rca. The clamp fitting was very tight and took some adjustment in order to get clamped securely. Also the location of the coax through the lower mounting bracket was also an obstacle. I had 6q coax so hopefully it will be strong enough to not get broken. And the antenna is mounted in the attic that should help also. The remaining portion of the installation was easy. The goal of the new antenna was to stabilize signal from station in vhf 13.1 - 13.6. This channel set would pixel under certain conditions. After install I ran the channel scan and on the channels in focus they have been perfect so far.
