CC Vector Extended Long Range WiFi Receiver System 2.4 GHz (VEC3)
- Brand: C.Crane
- P\N: VEC3
Description
Works With All Devices!
How it Works: Our directional antenna receives a distant available WiFi signal about 1/2 mile away (max. range is about 3 miles)* and connected with our CC Vector repeats a new WiFi signal in a dead zone, for use by all devices in your barn, shop, office, or other building. Sharing internet is a great way to save money! Range depends on obstructions and the signal strength of the network you're connecting to.
The system uses a directional 15dBi parabolic antenna to increase speed and reduce interference from other WiFi networks. The heavy-duty system mounts outdoors (mast not included) to a fixed location and then connects to the CC Vector inside.
The receiving antenna's range exceeds average WiFi range extenders designed for in-home use and the system works on all Windows®, Android®, Apple®, iPhone® and Smart TVs.
There are two available Ethernet jacks on the CC Vector for hardwiring additional computers or routers. It uses the most popular WiFi band at 2.4GHz. It also supports 5 GHz for shorter ranges. The setup is simple and easy for basic computer users.

Works as expected

Appears to work well at 300 feet The indicated signal strength in the CCrane app shows about 55% with no obstructions, using a Comtrend router. Easy assembly. The CCrane app does not play well with a Promac M1 computer. May work better with a linux computer. The connection drops out constantly, is exceedingly slow, and needs to be reloaded after every input. However once accomplished works well.
Works Great!

Installation was a breeze; I insulated the CC DX Mile for cooler temperatures as instructed. The temperature was eight degrees two days ago and the unit worked fine, I guess we'll see how it works when it gets cold. I'm happy.
