The Altelix NF141206HAU NEMA 4X Heated Weatherproof Enclosure with 100-240VAC Universal Power Outlet, Aluminum Equipment Plate and Heating System is ideal for protecting equipment from harsh environments and tampering. This rugged NEMA box is molded from durable and UV resistant fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP) with a UL94-5V flame rating. It features a stainless steel continuous door hinge and stainless steel latches with provision for padlocks. The door is fully gasketed making this enclosure suitable for use indoors or outdoors. This enclosure is 6 inches deep and features a flat lid for a reduced profile.
This configuration consists of the fiberglass NEMA enclosure with hinged lid and a 2.5mm thick finished aluminum plate with a pre-wired 100-240VAC duplex universal power outlet supporting multiple international power standards. A terminal strip and ground lug are provided for simplified wiring on-site. One 1/2" liquid-tight gland is provided for the AC supply along with two PG9 cable glands for low voltage wiring. This enclosure is designed to operate at the following voltages:
Designed for worldwide operation, the universal 100-240 VAC power outlet is compatible with the following countries' plug types: UK/Ireland BS 1363, Italy CEI 23-16/VII, Denmark Afsnit 107-2-D1, Euro plug (2-pin) CEE 7/16, and India BS 546. Ideal for cold environments, this model also features a thermostat controlled 400W* heating system. The heater turns on when the internal temperature reaches 43°F (6°C) and turns off when it rises to 59°F (15°C). The heater is situated below the mounting plate and wired internally so it does not interfere with user installed equipment.
The enclosure and plate can be drilled and modified by the installer to suit unique site requirements. Four removable stainless steel mounting feet are included so that the enclosure can be securely mounted to a wall or other structure. Great for use in applications such as Worldwide Operation, Indoor / Outdoor WiFi Equipment, SCADA Remote Terminal Unit, Security and Surveillance Systems, Outdoor use of Indoor Equipment, Protection of Equipment from Theft or Damage, and Concealment of Electronic Equipment.
