The Altelix NF141208VFAU Vented Fan Cooled Weatherproof NEMA Enclosure with 100-240VAC Universal Power Outlet and Aluminum Equipment Plate is ideal for protecting equipment from harsh environments and tampering. This rugged NEMA box is molded from durable and UV resistant fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP) with a UL94-5V flame rating. It features a stainless steel continuous door hinge and stainless steel latches with provision for padlocks. The door is fully gasketed making this enclosure suitable for use indoors or outdoors.
This configuration consists of the fiberglass NEMA enclosure with hinged lid and a 2.5mm thick finished aluminum plate with a pre-wired 100-240VAC duplex universal power outlet supporting multiple international power standards. A terminal strip and ground lug are provided for simplified wiring on-site. One 1/2" liquid-tight gland is provided for the AC supply along with two PG9 cable glands for low voltage wiring. This enclosure is designed to operate at the following voltages:
Designed for worldwide operation, the universal 100-240 VAC power outlet is compatible with the following countries' plug types: UK/Ireland BS 1363, Italy CEI 23-16/VII, Denmark Afsnit 107-2-D1, Euro plug (2-pin) CEE 7/16, and India BS 546. The enclosure and plate can be drilled and modified by the installer to suit unique site requirements. The NF141208VFAU features dual 4" vents and a thermostat controlled 100-240VAC cooling fan. The low noise, high airflow fan helps maintain lower internal temperatures. The fan turns on when the internal temperature reaches 100°F (38°C) and turns off when it drops to 79°F (26°C). The fan is wired internally so it does not require the use of the AC outlets leaving them available for internal equipment use.
Rain shrouds on the front door keep rainwater from entering the enclosure, and the internal aluminum mesh filters are removable for cleaning. Four removable stainless steel mounting feet are included so that the enclosure can be securely mounted to a wall or other structure. Great for use in applications such as SCADA Remote Terminal Unit, Security and Surveillance Systems, Outdoor use of Indoor Equipment, Protection of Equipment from Theft or Damage, and more!
