The Altelix 16" x 12" x 8" Heated and Fan Cooled Weatherproof NEMA Enclosure with 120VAC Power and Equipment Mounting Plate is ideal for protecting equipment from harsh environments and tampering. The equipment designed for indoor use can now be located outside. This rugged enclosure is molded from durable and UV resistant fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP). The door is fully gasketed making this enclosure suitable for use indoors or outdoors. The door features reinforced hinges and dual quarter-turn latches to secure the enclosure. A drip rail over the door provides additional protection against water dripping into the cabinet while the enclosure is wet. This configuration consists of the vented fiberglass enclosure with a hinged lid and equipment mounting plate with two pre-wired 120VAC power outlets. The outlet box is easily removable to facilitate wiring to an external power source. The enclosure features dual 4" vents and a thermostat controlled cooling fan to help maintain lower internal temperatures. It features a 5' pre-wired power cord to provide power to the internal 120VAC outlets.
Ideal for cold environments, this model also features a thermostat controlled 200W heating system. Molded into the interior of the enclosure is a versatile mounting system can be used to mount different size and types of equipment mounting plates as well as DIN rails without modifying the enclosure. It is designed for use with T-Nuts, they run the full length of the enclosure from top to bottom. This mounting system provides the flexibility needed when configuring the enclosure for specific user requirements. For use in applications such as outdoor Wi-Fi equipment, SCADA remote terminal unit, security and surveillance systems, outdoor use of indoor equipment, protection of equipment from theft or damage, concealment of electronic equipment, building maintenance areas, building rooftops or basements, parking lots and garages, warehouses, loading docks, weather stations, and more.
