The Altelix 24” x 16” x 9” Vented Fan Cooled Weatherproof NEMA Enclosure with 120VAC Power, Equipment Mounting Plate and Power Cord is ideal for protecting equipment from harsh environments and tampering. Any equipment designed for indoor use can now be located outside. This rugged rated enclosure is molded from durable and UV resistant fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP). The door is fully gasketed making this enclosure suitable for use indoors or outdoors. The door features reinforced hinges and dual quarter-turn latches to secure the enclosure. A drip rail over the door provides additional protection against water dripping into the cabinet while the enclosure is wet. This configuration consists of the fiberglass enclosure with a hinged lid and an equipment mounting plate with two pre-wired 120VAC power outlets and a 5' pre-wired power cord to provide power to the 120VAC outlet. The outlet box is easily removable to facilitate wiring to an external power source.
To help expel heat from within the enclosure, this features two 4” air vents with rain shields and dual thermostat controlled cooling fans. This helps maintain lower internal temperatures by allowing air to be either pushed or pulled through the enclosure The equipment mounting plate is provided for mounting and securing equipment. Molded into the interior of the enclosure is a versatile mounting system can be used to mount different size and types of equipment mounting plates as well as DIN rails without modifying the enclosure. Designed for use with T-Nuts, they run the full length of the enclosure from top to bottom. This mounting system provides the flexibility needed when configuring the enclosure for specific user requirements. Four mounting feet are included so that the enclosure can be securely mounted to a wall or other structure. Ideal for applications including indoor/outdoor Wi-Fi equipment, SCADA remote terminal unit, security and surveillance systems, outdoor use of indoor equipment, protection of equipment from theft or damage, concealment of electronic equipment, and more.
