Altelix NFC161608V - 16x16x8 Vented Fiberglass Weatherproof NEMA Enclosure

The Altelix 16" x 16" x 8" Vented Weatherproof NEMA 3X Enclosure is ideal for protecting equipment from harsh environments and tampering. Any equipment designed for indoor use can now be located outside. This rugged enclosure is molded from durable and UV resistant fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP). The door is fully gasketed making this enclosure suitable for use indoors or outdoors. The door features reinforced hinges and dual quarter-turn latches to secure the enclosure. A drip rail over the door provides additional protection against water dripping into the cabinet while the enclosure is wet. The base configuration consists of the fiberglass enclosure with a hinged lid. It can be drilled and modified by the installer to suit unique site requirements. This enclosure includes two 4" air vents with cleanable aluminum mesh screens which are covered by rain shields. These vents help expel heat from within the enclosure.
Molded into the interior of the enclosure is a versatile mounting system can be used to mount different size and types of equipment mounting plates as well as DIN rails without modifying the enclosure. Designed for use with T-Nuts, they run the full length of the enclosure from top to bottom. This mounting system provides the flexibility needed when configuring the enclosure for specific user requirements. For use in applications such as indoor/outdoor Wi-Fi equipment, SCADA remote terminal unit, security and surveillance systems, outdoor use of indoor equipment, protection of equipment from theft or damage, concealment, and more.
