Only needed a new battery

My in laws have had the remote extender for about four years now. A couple of weeks ago, it stopped working, but the red light on the transmitter was still lit. Taking a chance, I ordered a new battery thinking that maybe the older one just got to the end of its rechargeable ability. After getting the new battery in the mail and charging it for a few hours, it was put back in to the remote. The remote works again as it did before. I was going to buy a new unit but in this case a new battery did the trick. Thank you Solid Signal for a great product and great customer service.
