The 400 Plenum-grade cable meets building codes based on the National Fire Protection Agency and the National Electrical Code for installation of cell phone signal booster systems in building plenum spaces. This 400 Plenum cable is UL, CMP, and FT6 certified. It is bright orange in color for more visibility in dark Plenum spaces. This high-performance cable is for use in any cellular or wireless signal boosting system application requiring an easily routed, low loss RF cable for in-building mobile signal boosting systems. Plenum cables are mandated to be installed in any "air handling" space by the National Electric Code. To know if you need a Plenum-rated cable is to look into the ceiling if there is a duct going back to the air hauler. If there isn't a duct running to the air hauler then you have an open-air system that will need Plenum-rated cable.
