The solderless N connectors are meant to terminate LMR-400 or equivalent coax cable. These connectors will work on Wilson-400, LMR-400, CNT-400, and TWS-400 cables. The gold-plated captive center pin allows cables to be terminated without soldering or crimping. These connectors allow you to use them to field terminate cables and eliminates soldering which makes it easier to get a good solid termination while on location. This lets installers to make custom cable lengths on the job rather than having to measure cable runs and then build the cables in the shop. It is fabricated with nickel-plated brass and it can be used in indoor or outdoor applications. They can only be used with cables that have a solid conductor.
