Cold Shrink Weather proofing kits are the ideal way to seal both communication connectors and electrical connections from moisture, dust and other contaminate. 3M Cold Shrink Insulator was specially designed for primary insulation of solid dielectric insulated wires and cable splicing rated to 1000 volts. Suitable for insulating secondary splices, direct-buried or submersible and dig-in repairs.
The 3M Cold Shrink Insulator has a simple installation which requires no tools. It can withstand temperatures of -40 to 194 degrees F (-40 to 90 degrees C). Mastic pads are included for cable build-up.
