This 8-way active splitter with power supply by Quintech is a commercial quality 8-way splitter that meets strict level and match specifications achieved through the use of Quintech's proprietary SMT and microstrip technology. The LS082150A1FVA000-PS provides LNB DC power insertion that can be switched on and off via a mounted slide switch on the front panel of the unit. This splitter operates within the 950-2150 MHz frequency range and permits signal splitting with zero loss. This product includes the RPS-STD which is a 24V power supply with the ability to provide centralized power to as many as 16 LNBs, line amplifiers, combiners, or splitters. The RPS-STD consists of two separately fused power supply modules configured for a nominal voltage of 18 or 24 VDC. The power supply sits on an individual drawer to provide easy replacement of a faulty module and both supplies are monitored by a summary alarm which employs a serial interface. Loads in excess of 900mA will "trip" the overload detection, shutting down the input port until the current demand drops below the reset threshold point.
