It is NOT recommended using just the Rocket cover or just the Radome. RF Amor designed these units to work in tandem as a KIT.

The RF Armor 2/5 GHz 24" Dish Kit is a radio frequency shield kit for the Ubiquiti Rocket Dish protecting the radio device from unwanted RF by reducing/attenuating in-band, out-of band and out-of-channel interference, improving performance.

The RF Armor kits are manufactured from marine grade aluminium for light weight and to allow for electric conductivity keeping the shielding in contact with the antenna ground plain as well as providing years of rust-free service.

The Rocket box replaces the existing Ubiquiti plastic housing and fully encloses the radio inside the aluminium box, which has no openings larger than the quarter wave of the radio.

The Radome Tube extends from just outside the edge of the parabolic curve to out past the end of the stem to prevent unwanted RF energy coming from the top, bottom, and sides from reaching the stem greatly reducing unwanted noise to the radio keeping the radio focused only on the desired RF signal.

The Rocket Shield aluminium housing provides weather protection for the Ubiquiti Rocket and the Radome reduces wind load and ice build up on the antenna. Formerly: UDK25, UDK25AC
