Works well for detecting water with the following CONS 1. battery life is only 3 months or so. Had the unit for 9 months - I've done 3 battery changes - When I test and the siren is weak that's when I change them 2. App is OK but for the app to notify you when your phone is away from your home WIFI, you must pay for a monthly service.
I monitor my Air BnB as well as my home sink and basement.

Works like other water sensors ive used. except it connects to my wifi and get phone alerts. Seems to work within a couple of seconds or so. its saved me some worry too.
