Televes vs RCA

I replace the RCA ANT705E attic/outdoor antenna for the Televes Vzenit Mix, I had 77 channels at the time, when I replaced it, I got 57 channels from the Televes antenna, 20 channels less. which one is better? Televes will pick up the same channels but, not like the RCA. You have to carefully fine tune it and yes, it will get you the channels you want. I gave it a 3 star because I thought it would beat the RCA but it didn't. I will keep it, the channels look very good and I'm happy with my purchase.

I had a cheap antenna from Amazon for years and could never figure out how to get all the channels. I tried everything from advanced amplifiers and bluetooth signal monitoring, nothing worked. I'm 35 miles from our local metro and this antenna turned iffy signal on many stations with a small Yagi antenna into "solid signal" on all local stations and decent reception from some stations I had no expectation of receiving at all.

v Very happy! I get way more channels than I did with the small window antenna. I installed this Televes in the attic. I’m about 20 miles from the broadcast tower in Chicago.

This antenna was recomended by The Antenna Man for my personal circumstance. I told him I would install it in the attic. I bought the antenna and pointed it in the right direction, and it picks up all of my local channels. It was somewhat of a challenge to put it together, but I found a video that was much better than the still pictures in the instructions. All the pieces were there and it seems well conctructed. Good job, Televes; good job, Solid Signal, and very good job, Tyler the Antenna Man!

this Antenna works great for me. I mounted it in my Garage attic. The instructions were a little difficult to get especially which screws went were but i eventually figured it out. the reason i gave it a 4 out of 5. if the instructions were easy would be 5 out of 5.. as for the vendor Solid signal the are 5 0ut of 5 received quickly and with no delay.
